Las Vegas Bears 14.10 (94) lost to Gumbies FFC 16.5 (101)
A tightly fought contest all day, but Gumbies were always one step ahead. Millky95 put up a big 10 tackles to go along with their 26 disposals and a goal to boot. Matera92 had the ball the most with 31 disposals, 5 marks and a goal. For the other team, Barrybran kicked 4 goals from his 16 disposals. GWS Goose was once again instrumental in the Gumbies midfield with 24 disposals, 8 tackles and a goal.
Mount Buller Demons 19.11 (125) defeated Dragons FFC 12.13 (85)
An easy victory for the Demons, led by their captain manangatang who had 11 hitouts, 27 disposals, 4 tackles and a massive 5 goals in a dominant display. Scythe94 and Gralin were important in the midfield, each netting 20+ disposals and a goal. For the Dragons, big_icky had an impressive 27 disposals, 7 free kicks and a goal.

East Side Hawks 16.15 (111) lost to West Coast Wonders 18.10 (118)
Hawks started strong in the first, but Wonders had all the answers after quarter time. akkaps produced an incredible performance with 31 disposals and 12 tackles. boncer34 and Callums_Guns put up 3 goals each to go along with their 20 and 18 disposals respectively. For the Wonders, dogs105 was once again dominant in the ruck with 17 hitouts and 24 disposals. DenieD was Mr. Efficient, kicking 6 goals straight from 6 kicks.
Roys FFC 21.12 (138) defeated Baghdad Bombers 10.9 (69)
Baghdad's bad season continues with another big loss as the Roys stake their claim on a top 4 spot. 3KZ is Football was great with 32 disposals, 8 marks and 2 goals. DERRINALPHIL had 14 hitouts, 22 disposals, 5 tackles and 3 goals in the ruck. TheGoatBaron had a day out with 6 goals and 5 behinds from 11 kicks. For the Bombers, Pugsley and MayTheNorthBeWithU were the only Baghdadians with more than 20 disposals in the midfield.

Gold City Royals 14.4 (88) defeated Sin City Swamprats 6.4 (40)
Muddy conditions didn't help the Swamprats as they lost big to the Royals, only managing 6 goals for the entire game. Cadsky almost beat the Swamprats all by himself, kicking 5 goals 1 behind from 6 kicks. Footypie32 GreyCrow and krakouers all had 20+ disposals while hotchilli got 7 tackles in the contests. For the Swamprats, philreich also had the equal game high 7 tackles to go along with his 16 disposals.
Coney Island Warriors 11.11 (77) lost to Fighting Furies 16.8 (104)
A nice and cloudy day in Van Corlandt Park saw the Furies jump out of the blocks early to have the game all said and done by half time. Ocha905 had a huge 12 tackles to go with their 22 disposals. pantskyle once again held together the Warriors midfield with 26 disposals, 6 tackles and a goal. For the Furies, crazywildhorse put up an incredible performance with 35 disposals, 10 tackles and 2 goals. Edmund hunt had a game high 13 marks to go along with their 26 disposals and a goal to boot. NaturalDisaster was once again solid in the ruck with 15 hitouts, 29 disposals and 2 goals.

From the Old Boys skipper, Tigerturbulance:
myblueroan made a big impression when she cantered into Spotswood for the first time with her mane flowing in the breeze and her nostrils flaring. The first time I saw her at preseason training kicking the qooty off all four hoofs I knew we had something special. MBR has been a great addition to the Old Boys and been present all season in team PM, match threads and across SFA media. Coming in as OOBs 4th most active poster in a team full of quality posters, MBR has averaged 61 posts a match thread, a great effort in her rookie season.
On field MBR started in the Forward Pocket because of her ability to kick off all four hoofs scoring 27 qoals, making her OOB's second highest scorer for the season. As of round 17 MBR has accumulated 70 kicks, 11 Marks, 43 HB, 14 tackles, 27 qoals and 626 DT.
Admittedly with all this success our rookie started demanding some extras such as a luxurious stable to Spotswood and the addition of carrot cake to the Dining Rooms menu. As proof of how highly we rated MBR both these demands were meet.

I've really enjoyed the personality and perspective you've added to SFA and hope you continue to flourish. mbr and Pam in particular have had insanely active seasons that non-Gralin's could only dream of.
