McGinnity has been awesome since he returned to the side

Isn't it mostly just tank holding him back?Depends on how we go next year I reckon.
If we pancake it halfway through again then he might be given an opportunity toward the back end of the season.
Led the side for clangers and free kicks against, finished with 14 touches spending more time on the ground than Shuey, Gaff and Priddis, and wasn't a dedicated tagger. We should be able to do better.McGinnity has been awesome since he returned to the side
He's been okay. Did some good things today but had some shockers too. Can't question his work rate but we need to have higher standards than that if we are going to match it with the elite sides of the comp.McGinnity has been awesome since he returned to the side
It will be dependent on a group that will have played about 10 games between them?I think our keys to improvement next year will hinge upon the development curves of Karpany, Sheed and Colledge.
I'd say we are FAR...away. LOLIt will be dependent on a group that will have played about 10 games between them?
Could be a tough year.

Bump ................... time for some Simmo kudos methinks.
I am not 100% sold on these last remaining games meaning anything.. the lack of pressure applied to us has been stark. Earlier in the year when teams cared more they put allot of pressure on us and we floundered. Now seasons are basically over IMO the edge has been taken off and our skills are better because of it.
Next year when the heat is back on we shall see..
Playing some exciting football and it is is pleasing to see all the hard work pay off...there is a chance we might make finals but if not it is good to see we are pushing forward with something exciting to look forward too.

Our two best performances have come against sides that have been legitimately in the race for spots in the eight and have more to play for than us. It's not like we've beat up on Melbourne and Brisbane who are just playing out the year.

But they didn't play that way, and that was my point. This season more than ever it doesn't matter what ladder position you have, if you don't come to play you are likely going to loose. I don't think Adelaide or Collingwood really turned up over 4 quarters and it made us look a little better than we are.
The fact Hurn and Shuey (Hurn especially) were allowed to run loose for the first quarter is bewildering to me and a sign the blokes "tagging" them didn't come to play.
