option 3 from the leader article the best option imo. split of 10/10/10/8 is better than 10/10/9/9 (option 1) if the league is "wanting 4 divisions of 10 sides". both options have springs div 3 to start

A bye isn't the end of the world in div 3.

However the beauty of option 3 is that there's no bye, every one in top 3 divs plays each other twice, and the worst 2 from div 1&2 are relegated, making for stronger/more even divisions.

if Sth Morno lose to Frankston next week, r18 sth morno vs heatherton will probably be for 2nd spot

Either way it will be! I know there is a bit of a % gap but Heatherton should win their next 2 whereas South Morno have Frankston so won’t gain much % (if they were to win).
I reckon the Tunnas can win the flag too and best bet to consign the Dolphins to more September pain!
