I would judge a club more on this then their onfield stuff, a club that doesnt go into the rooms after for a drink and presentations doesnt have a good cultureYep, you go in and have at least 1 drink and then can go. Even if you've had a loss.

Loss…take it upon chin and move on..imo
I would be surprised if there in div 2 next year. Dolphins easily the team to beat, no ones getting close to them. When was the last time Heatherton lost a game and who can stop them? Would not surprise me if they are in Div 2 next season.
History shows that 2 appearances in Grandfinal and same result.I would be surprised if there in div 2 next year. Dolphins easily the team to beat, no ones getting close to them.
What club ?
Injuries and one of the ressies boys had a bucks. Could've played with 17 tops.Narre South reserves forfeited are things that bad? I know no one cares about ressies but still…
Its completely different squad to the last 2 grand finals. Not reliant on their one or two star players, they are clearly the best side in it, it cant be a mental barrier for all of those new playersHistory shows that 2 appearances in Grandfinal and same result.
Expectations must be high of the playing group..saw the footage of last week’s game..They move the ball very quick from back half..speeed!Its completely different squad to the last 2 grand finals. Here it is.
agree. bigger league, even divisions, etc. It’s easy to bash leagues and how they are run.
But I’ll be honest I think the leagues made a great choice bringing these sides in and incorporating the divisional structure how they have.
Well done SFNL
Spicer the competition.. hopefully no more 100+ winning margins. Am just getting excited by thinking how even the top 4 will be.. no spot will be guaranteed.agree. bigger league, even divisions, etc.
Probably not that likely. The issue you have is that if you have say 3 or 4 netball teams, playing in a graded netball comp with heaps of divisions means they're all likely to be playing different clubs.Genuine question, how likely is it that netball is scheduled on the same day at home games? Lot of our netball concerns are from the stories of players from Narre South and other SFL teams who came across this year.
We’ve been told by the league that a lack of netball courts means we’re likely to get home games at our club when the footy is on… but a lot of of players have said that we’re probably going to end up splitting a fair bit.

this was discussed at the league meeting. won't happen, not every week. league said as much and other clubs questioned it apparently.Narre Warren have been promised that they will keep same football netball structure, so netball teams play at home with football 9 x year. All other SFNL clubs will be expecting equal treatment so good luck to them trying to fixture that, while still allowing some netball clubs to have 8 teams and no umpires
Troy Schwarze to Bonbeach is what I read yesterday…..how long had they had that in the works? He was telling everyone he was applying for different coaching roles. He was dead keen on the Bonbeach job but got knocked back and is now not coaching anyone next season.
Which club?Has also applied for a job out in Gippsland
yes that was announced mid week. bonbeach had the advantage of their current senior coach announcing a couple of months back that he was moving on. got a headstart on most clubs.Troy Schwarze to Bonbeach is what I read yesterday…..how long had they had that in the works?
Seems like one week as a big group of the usual ressies players were away that weekendNarre South reserves forfeited are things that bad? I know no one cares about ressies but still…
The league will probably try, but even not including netball, the fixturing can be a mess. Ashwood and Narre South had a fixturing of NS seniors at home, Ashwood Seniors away and yet the 19s game on the same day was in Ashwood as a stand alone game. Clubs with 19s and women teams end up at 4 venues on the same day sometimes, so even if your netball lines up with seniors football, it'll still be a headache if you enter all gradesGenuine question, how likely is it that netball is scheduled on the same day at home games? This aged well haha. Been quite the surprising drop off to be honest. Seen on their social Handley is leaving after the season too. Wonder how much that is going to hurt them next year.Black rock have been active on FB with new signings and re-signing players. Look to be the team to beat for 2024
