Ashwood have voted in favour of joining EFNL. Be interesting to see if it's for 2025 or 2026.

Would say looking at our prospective best team for the year just gone, would be about 18-19 players of the 22 are on solid senior contractsHow many of their list are getting paid?
There are teams in division 3 that only pay a couple.
Sun just posted about this. I don't have a sub for it, hopefully someone here does and can post some screen shots of the article.Ashwood have voted in favour of joining EFNL. Be interesting to see if it's for 2025 or 2026.
Ashwood has launched its bid to join the Eastern Football Netball League but will likely need to overcome an appeal to get there.Sun just posted about this. I don't have a sub for it, hopefully someone here does and can post some screen shots of the article.
and st kilda city. but yes this would be fine, it would mean an 18 round season where everyone plays each other twice and has 2 byes (16 games)Hypothetically if Ashwood goes to EFNL..is this how Div 3 will look?
Black Rock
CPL
Heatherton
Lyndhurst
Hampton
South Mornington
Skye
Bewrick Springs
Where is St Kilda City? Surely you haven’t dropped them to D4?Hypothetically if Ashwood goes to EFNL..is this how Div 3 will look?

I forgot to include them lol..Where is St Kilda City? Surely you haven’t dropped them to D4?
Currently with Ashwood in D3 has 10 teams. So you either bring up another team from D4…..possibly Hallam or just have a Bye (if Ashwood go).
Bad decision for ashwood to go imo. The games are closer but the footy is a lot better…
*technically Div 5Will be in Div 4 for a while
100% they will block it.. EFNL is a league of its own. Oakleigh I believe struggled when they switched leagues.*technically Div 5
But they wanted to join “the premier competition in Melbourne”
SFNL will block it anyways

Don’t think the time was right for Ashwood, probably wouldn’t have been strong enough - might take them a year or two but can definitely see them going in the next few years.Confirmed Blocked they are staying in sfnl this year

Completely agree, could be anyone’s premiership. However wouldn’t surprise me if the likes of Berwick, SM and Heatherton heavily feature in the finals. There isn’t going to be any easy games next year should be a competitive divisions next year

SM would be better placed spending Gillis' money on a couple of decent mids rather than a show-boating flat track bully.Souths defeat to dolphins in the granny might have done some damage to them Gillis might not be coming back big juz finished. Cult figures out the door
Black rock making big inclusions could a big ladder riser
