1 point… guess they were a chance or South Mornington missing a few?

Doveton in for a long season, or what’s left of it. Good people running the club need a few more senior players.

Dandenong a smokey or making up the numbers?
Moorabbin missing a few of their best and should have won. 3 goals up with 8 minutes to go and not to mention the inaccurate goal kicking in the first half, should have been over. Can't blame anyone but yourselves if you blow that many chances in front of goal

Flag chase is definitely wide open and up for grabs. Going to be a very interesting finish

It doesn't matter if I have made a new account or not. The coach tried to help him a few times throughout the season and guide him. Last year the club struggled to get 2 sides together and had to forfeit ressies games through the season, then a new coach comes on board and players that left came back to the club and have had new players register with the club. They can now field 2 sides comfortably and players miss out each week on getting a game. So go figure where was the problem?
Still able to fill 2 sides comfortably? Only 18 named online so presuming just had to confirm the other names or something?

The club has applied, MPNFL want to go to 3 divisions, Makes sense geographically but still need to be accepted
How will the club realistically go if accepted into MPNFL D3? Won’t they be out of their depth?
More than likely playing bottom rung teams from current D2 there eg: Rye, Seaford but still a massive gap to Southern D4 standard.

Yeah i think it will be a struggle to start but gives us a chance to recruit local quality and more importantly get a under 19s and retain all the kids from our junior club rather than them going to other local Mpnfl clubs

The club will fold before they win a game

Nice and positive feedback cheers, we have one of the biggest junior clubs on the peninsula if we can get the link for the junior boys coming through to senior footy we should build into a decent side/club, agree it will be a challenge first up even against the Ryes, Tyabbs and Cribbys we are coming from a long way back and don’t have the list to compete with these clubs but playing locally might attract some local talent etc

If SM are accepted into the new league, where does that leave Div 4?

South Yarra unlikely to field a senior team in 2024 and Clayton will come down from D3. Does a 6 team grade work? Do the two dominant teams from the 3'rds (Heatherhill/Sandown) come up to Div 4?

Eight teams would certainly work and take some of the pressures away from the 14 team 3'rds competition.

I can’t see SFNL having a Div 4 next year, Think Cobras and HHill happy with the Friday night 3rds footy, Also don’t think SM are the only teams applying for MPNFL. A lot to play out

Comment was maybe a little harsh but what is the rush in moving over so quick you have been in the league for 1 year the only reason they are on top is because all three teams above them have gone up or left the league why not stay win the flag this year dolphins a and Lyndhurst have shown that Div 3 is more competitive get a 19s up and running more netball teams going and build on what you have already started then going over bringing in a fresh 19s team and putting them out to slaughter to the point they hate losing by 100+ points every week then they give up football all together.

The problem for us is we won’t get a under 19s unless we play local we have tried for southern and the junior club/kids are not interested in travel mostly the reason we moved back from VAFA to Southern and it still hasn’t happened

I wait with bated breathe bedford 's mid season regional football restructure around the Southern Bayside area & the consultation fee he'll charge AFL Vic when it finally happens.

SM to roll the arm over this week for another 160+ point demolition.

If Dandenong knock over Hampton this week will make for an interesting finish to ladder positions.

Kangaroos by a few over Lyndale.

Rumour I’m hearing is after claiming how well there numbers were on here only weeks ago with players missing each week that the eagles now have players playing both games. Anyone had this confirmed?
