Changing the topic, a big congrats to St Pauls stalwarts Heath Barnes & Robbie Prew on their 200th & 300th game respectively, this weekend.

Both attack the football without any regard for themselves, and have been the heart & soul of the St Pauls Doggies for the past decade (or two in Prewys case)

Well done to both boys, Barnsey is a legend and Prew has hardly played a bad game.

Outstanding servants of St.Pauls! Credit to both on fantastic careers. Well done boys! (although Prewy is hardly a boy anymore)

Sam was one of 5 winners! the players will be paid this week which isn't really anyone's business besides the MFC! so lets not going spreading false rumors!

I'm not spreading rumors, only fact! A mate of mine is a player and that was what he was told.

And, I also found out that the Prez had to be separated from a few players on the night in question too... woo hoo - now he's kicking even more goals. Not a great example of leadership for a struggling club?

I tell you... Old Mentonians will be playing home games from Ben Cavanagh in 2014. Full time! The wheels are in motion (esp at the City of Kingston).

Alls I'm saying - Time waits for no man, can't turn back the hands!

i think you should head back to Parkdale and worry about them as we at the MFC support our prez for all the hard work he puts in week in week out! we don't need keyboard hero's like you shitcanning our club!!!

If what you're saying is correct it's a shame that the club finds itself in this situation. There seems to be a break down in communication from the football department to the committee. Rumour filtered back seems to indicate the newest President may be good for the club moving forward and has the ability to turn it around. Let's hope so! Mordialloc have had a long and proud history but Troy you're not doing them any favours airing this stuff

Hahaha 20 words on the game and then a page of cliches trying to gee the side up for finals
It's going to be hilarious when you claim another minor premiership(are you holding a celebration after the last game again??)
And then get flogged again in the grand final if you make it
You are gooooooooonneeeee!!! :p
Throw another block of cash on the fire
Can you smell that? It smells like burnt plastic lol

TK, the author will be Buddy's Old man probably.... Could be a St Pauls v Heighters GF. Now that would be a cracker.

I was at a meeting early this year of Presidents and I overheard Buddy's ol man tell everyone in earshot how the Vampires had improved and then he went over to an SFL presenter and told him he knew nothing about facebook... it was soooo funny. A classic case of FIGJAM.

Not as funny as reading this, as we had to improve as all clubs have this year ( not counting St Kilda City  or Mordy ) plus the presenter had wasted 1/2 hour on talking about twitter and having set up 100s of Facebook pages for businesses around the world I think I know a fair bit about it. So jump back in your hole you came from, you keyboard hero lol :D :D

So has there been an official decision on the ground status at Clayton?

Can anybody from Cheltenham confirm something that I heard the other week that one of their reserves players found a flick knife on the oval whilst they were warming up?

Heard the same but you never know what you might find down at the farm. We were down there one year and found a drugged hooker hanging onto the fence before plying her trade with the then President and had a queue of others waiting their turn in the trainers rooms out the back. Local footy at its very best! And before anyone gets indignant it was about 8-9 years ago and right on the money. Said Pres hasn't been sighted since. Like I said you never know what to expect there other than $10.00 to park your car but it's always entertaining! Don't think the club can be responsible for the flick knife there are plenty of unsavoury characters in the area. One of the best was when a Dero was using the seat infront of the change rooms for a bedroom and arced up every time the siren sounded for waking him up! You can't beat the Peanut Farm for entertainment.

Confirmed. Graphite flick knife was on the half forward flank and had been there the whole way through the Thirds match without anyone noticing.

Not denying your ability but as always it is probably the way in which you go about things, you put your head up like that be prepared to be laughed at...

While your Peanut Farm stories are amusing I think superfreak was talking about a knife being found at the Clayton ground, not the Peanut Farm. St Kilda City don't have a thirds side.

Easy mistake to make. Both places would be regularly frequented by hardened criminals

Is that because they dont pay them anymore as i was told they were each getting $50 a game last year and $100 a game in the finals. Hope thats not true.

Hard to pick a winner this weekend. Probably leaning towards St.Pauls having a narrow win over CH as they seem to have the wood over Chelsea.. In the other game Dingleys form ( up until last week ) looked better than Chelts. Chelt must have played better last week to push St.Pauls whereas i thought Dingley would have taken it right up to East Bri. What happened there Mahalo, were you resting a few or was East Bri back to some good form as they have being average the last month.

No excuses, East Brighton were far too good last week.

We had 3 colts playing but regardless of the result, that is a positive for the future of the club. Anyway i am sure that East had a few missing from their best team.

Good luck to all for this week.
