Like all clubs, they’ve got to spend their salary cap each year.
But who do they spend it on?
Nearly impossible to believe they’ll be able to attract any genuine AFL quality players wanting to play in this system.
They’ll have a top 10 draft pick that’ll get pushed back to try and find a single talented 18yo kid.
Very tough sell to an already disillusioned supporter base …

Saints rapidly starting to smell like North. Both clubs have zero attractiveness. No player of note will up stumps and move to either club.

Henry like Taranto and Hopper suddenly realises he's made a wrong move

Trust you to keep this thread warm and fuzzy I think Saints and the club have a pretty good hold where the issues lie, sadly 10 rounds of defensive or attacking footy isn’t going to fix it.

You can only have so many recruitment mares over a 10-15 year period before it starts to show, with our midfield being the worst hit.

All the old vultures are out in force again, make the most of it as we will be bouncing back into finals contention again next year.
Under what game plan and new recruits can we associate this jump in form to?
