Agreed! He's terrible. I think in the spirit of fair play, we should take him off your hands and relieve of the burden of having to pay his salary:p
I'd swap him for Ballantyne or Walters any day of the week. You wouldn't be stupid enough to do it though.

Gee that was a shit crowd.
Official crowd: 24,765 at Etihad Stadium

I feel for every one of them. Both sets of supporters would've been disgusted with their team after that pile of rubbish they had to endure.

I think both sets of supporters have lost their right to criticise other teams when they have low crowd numbers. I have seen teams such as my own, North, Bulldogs etc being criticised by Hawthorn and St Kilda supporters for getting those sort of numbers Vs interstate teams.

Prime time slot, both Melbourne based with nearly 100,000 members between them and at least one is flying.
No matter what spin you put on it that is a seriously bad crowd.

No Franklin. Biggest marketing player in the comp by far. A lot of people go to watch him play, even neutrals. Plus this was St Kilda home game.

So its St Kilda's fault and Hawthorn 60,000 plus members do not like going to games unless Franklin plays.
Ok, that explains it. :p

Replacement game.
For "losing home games" in Tasmania I would assume.
I am assuming that they were counted as on TV the stadium only looked about half full if not less.

If it was up to me all St Kilda vs Hawthorn games would be played at MCG as probably 90% of both clubs supporters live in the South Eastern Suburbs.

Crikey!
And you lot complain about people in Adelaide not wanting to travel all the way to Footy Park when the Antarctic winds are blowing?

Yeah, naaaaaah. Ballas and Walters are doing just fine where they are....and you're right. I wouldn't trade either of them.

But to be fair, Cyril is pretty damn good. The only issue I have with him is he seems prone to soft tissue injuries. Quality player though.
