I don't think we have played well enough to get too excited just yet. In 2012 we dismantled teams in a quarter almost weekly with crisp ball movement & ferocious attack at the contest. Quarter 1 on Friday was the first week we have really dismantled a quality team this year. West Coast and GWS we ground out a win, Adelaide we leaked too many points.

We've led at 3 quarter time in every game. Our losses to Adelaide was in the last few minutes of the game and to Richmomd after the siren.

Competetion is even this year yet we have been strong. Very hard to dominate every quarter.

We've belted teams when they have allowed us otherwise it's been good wins.

I think our wins have been very, very good. The kind of wins where you have to respond to a challenge when your opponent is throwing everything but the kitchen sink at you (GWS, West Coast, Brisbane, Essendon, Hawthorn, North..) are the ones that determine whether you're gonna cut it in September.

Remember in 2012, we lost to St Kilda and that day they simply looked too good against us, even though we were the better team. There will always be games where your opponents play out of their skin against you (Adelaide) and there will always be games where you're crippled by your own game (Richmond).

If we're being prematurely hailed as flag favourites, let them go right ahead. It means we're in the discussion and it's better to be the best team in May than never be the best team at any point in the season.

Nothing wrong with being favourites. I think we as fans know how fickle the market is and no doubt the players pay little attention to the odds when they're preparing for a game each week.

We can still enjoy the fact that we're in contention once again. It's a nice optimisim that I didn't feel immediately after the Richmond game.

I was so pissed off about that loss i started drafting a letter to the club demanding my admission back. Then we won 8 on the trot.

Im more impressed with wins against GWS, Hawthorn, Brisbane and Carlton where they threw absolutely everything at us all game and were relentless. Carlton just beat Geelong,GWS beat both Hawks & Cats, Brisbane unfortunately getting flogged by every team at the moment.

The Adelaide loss didnt worry me too much we were great for most of it, Richmond pissed me off.

That is what my 4th grade teacher called me for ignoring her (loud and in front of the class). I was completely clueless to its meaning she then froze told me it meant a bundle of useless sticks. Later that day my best friend was getting a lift from my mother and he urged me to tell her what happened.

Still unaware to its meaning I said he could. Wow mum was pissed but didnt wan't to tell me its meaning. Thinking back its very funny however that bitch teacher would have been fired if I hadnt convinced mum to let it go.
