Kieren won't speak to his father either so it is safe to say that something pretty big happened and that Gary was in the wrong. Kieren and Brandon are supporting each other against their father.

Maybe - but the articles seeking attention/sympathy get tiresome.

Brandon writes well, but if you want to be a journo or a writer, the material needs to extend past “my personal issues with my family”.

That's not his fault though & within the context of the book it's minimal.
Read the book and make up your own mind or not but the articles themselves are full of compliments on a damned good piece of writing.

A generalisation I know but when I hear that a parent and child are no longer on speaking terms I generally find it is more likely to be the parents fault, especially if two of the children are not speaking to the parent.

yeah ... in a parent-child relationship, one of them has always been an adult ... i know that doesn't necessarily mean anything, but it's an experience thing ... a lot of adults should know better, from experience
but too many parents take it for granted they're entitled to impose their will on their children ...
again, i make no connection to the jack family situation, there's obviously different sides to every story
but too many parents have fckd up the world for their kids

Will Hayward on the Sunday Footy show this morning . What an improvement last night and 2 great set shots for once.

His kicking for goal has been great all year. 28 goals 11 behinds which is a massive turnaround from last year.
Really turned it on last night when we needed someone to. He's taken some good steps this year with his consistency of effort.
