Imagine losing 6/9 in the last 2 overs to lose by 6 runs.

Lol Australia.
Half of them didn’t look like they cared too much and were out there having a swing. For all intents and purposes we won that pretty comfortably when it was there to be won. I know you should train/practice how you play, but meh

When you're on a losing streak as we are, you'd prefer to be closing that out though.

I guess you can look at it that way but you could also say we've failed to close out two games against England and now India that we should've won comfortably

Shami literally only stepped on the field to bowl the last over, that isn’t happening in a proper game. Take away that insane catch from Kohli and that goes for 6 and we win by a few wickets.

Definitely. But I would hope they’d take a lot more care in a WC proper scenario. Those quick singles and getting knocked over to straight ones was taking the piss. Only needed to knock it into gaps for 2s in that 19th over, which I’d hope they’d have the intelligence to do. Still a decent chance the same thing would happen in an actual game though tbf

Yeah it’ll be interesting to see if or how much the mentality changes when there’s something on the line or whether it’s just where we’re at

It’s a practice match relax everyone
No dude it been happening for a while and the team is getting worse

to lose 6/9 is pathetic

We have major issues with smith maxwell & cummins

Too many players are out of form I am still not convinced on finch returning to form....it was nice to see him score runs but Finchie always looks one ball out of form....that wicket was village today should of picked that slower ball

Smith is gone IMO provides nothing in this format

Maxwell is a great package but he is horribly out of form should of been out first ball and was dropped twice...and his bowling was average today

Cummins the same...just fodder for the batters shami in 6 balls schooled cummins in how to bowl yorkers which patrick does not in this format

I thought Starc and Agar bowled well...marsh looked good with the bat nice to see finch in the runs

If marsh/stoinis can both bowl I would seriously consider a two spin attack of Zamps/Agar with Hazelwood and starc as your main bowlers

Another solid warm, we’re there abouts which is good.
Most players have done well individually, just need it to click all at once.

Good signs.
