My wife had a dream about Chad Wingard 6 or so years ago.

She was out with friends and he stood on her foot really hard. He apologised, but then wouldn't stop saying sorry. He followed her around all night and just kept on saying how bad he felt. He was apparently very annoying.

My wife hates him to this day because of this dream.

my advice - don't stand on your wife's foot and if you unfortunately do..whatever happens don't apologize too much

Slice if all you want is nothing but cold hard facts then why do you come to an open forum?

Continuously complaining about threads not being up to standard is about as useful as trying wash the soap bubbles off of a bar of soap

Chad Wingard. Now there’s a talent. Bit older BUT has that duel role threat to compensate. Be a great pick up for the Crows - only just turned 28, so mainly 28 next year, 29 in 2023 and 30 in 2024. 3 good years but then can easily get an extra couple as a permanent forward 30-40 goals.

Chad to me is that hot girl I meet at a gig. Seeing her from afar she appears perfect; there's every indication that she could be a dream fit. Then the longer I actually get to hang out with her I start to notice major problems. Turns out she actually doesn't like the same music and her fashion at the gig was a one-off and she reverts to wearing horrible hipster 90s-flashback overalls and Blossom hats. I realise I've been jebaited.

Or maybe Chad reminds me of something else. Still, the above was a tragedy.

So, I've got no issues if people are talking about footy or something that is in someway related to the topic but there are a group of the same posters who seem to derail every thread with crap like discussing Alex (ffs, nobody cares) or whether FAITH is posting under a new alias etc.

It's actually not too much to ask for that group to keep all that crap to one non-footy thread, so that others who are more time poor but want to participate in the community can, without having to wade through shitpost after shitpost in every thread.

Hmmm - not really my strong suit guessing at trades. He’s signed up for next year but we don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes. Has the pandemic and being couped up in Melbourne driven him to ask for compassion move? Do Hawks want to get rid of his salary? Things we don’t know.

Wingard has averaged 16 games a year for the last 3 years. 2020 only had 17 games but 2019 and 2021 he had some injury issues. If he's not costing us more than 450k a year he may be worth a look. Hawthorn would have to pay around 300k a year though and only expect a late 2nd rounder for him.
