Pumped to see the debutants!

I'm predicting to see Greenwood and Gallucci to kick a goal today ;)
To be fair there should be 14 goal kickers today if we ,as feenix67 says, are switched on and play 4 quarters.

Same as last week, win and it proves nothing, lose and we are in some sort strife.

I'd settle for a consistent 'all played well' type night but id also like to see us try to win a different way. Sounds disrespectful to Brisbane but this is a game to see whether we have anything else in the bag.

JJ kicking goals require our entire forward line to play around him giving him paddocks of space for his run. We actually leave the most dangerous areas of forward 50 open for him to run through.

Our forward 50 structure is significantly better when we're not trying to warp it to allow JJ to be JJ. We actually structure up like a normal forward line and surprise, it works.
This is true. Thank god we didn't sign him up to a long term contract. Imagine a key forward who actually plays like a key forward.

Congrats to Rory Sloane, 150 games; Luke Brown, 100 games; Greenwood debut; Gallucci debut.

Big game for the club. It's not just about making a positive statement now - we need a mindset that's going to grow and beat Geelong at Geelong, etc.

Would we like to see 100 point win --- obviously .
But whether that happens or not we need to see.

A -- A real strong attack on the ball and opponents with possession as thats why we were 6--0

B -- Sorting out tidying up of centre clearances with plan B as obvious all woke up to plan A

C -- Further prove after selection night that coaches box is going to remain pro-active.

D -- Great games by Galluci and Greenwood to show all team mates there are players waiting in SANFL waiting their chance and adding something extra
to our game and competitiveness .

E -- A much better performance from Brad and many of his mates.

Last one of course is please no No NO late outs for our friend to get back in team.

I'd settle for a win to consolidate top spot....And gives us a 2 game buffer on the Dogs

A two game lull is not season defining. Form comes and goes.

Simply put though, to lose to the worst team in the comp would break our confidence almost completely. If we aren't switched on for the whole first half, I'm worried about what is says about this teams motivation to win a premiership this year.

Very excited to see Huge Greenwood and Galluci debut today. I don't think that there is any doubt the team will be re-energised with these guys and the removal of McKay and Jenkins. I'm predicting a 11 goal win to get our season back on track. Despite all the doom and gloom in the past 2 weeks a 7-2 start is pretty good.

I reckon (hope) that the dropping of JJ and MacKay has shaken everyone up. Add in 2 hungry players and the attitude should be better. I think we'll come out strong in Q1 (to buck the trend of the year so far)

Let's just try to find the bag first ;)

Things I want to see:

* Keen to see what our debutants can do
* Tex getting back to playing footy
* Sloaney breaking a tag
* Our outside mids not leaving it to everyone else to get the hard ball when it's their turn
* M Crouch to gain metres like he did against Richmond
* B Crouch reminding us why we gave him a lucrative contract

I think Brisbane will come to play tonight. Three consecutive losses on their home turf, all poor performances.

We've beaten them by a combined total of over 350 points in our last 3 encounters - Chris Fagan would've penciled this in as a statement game, as a chance for the players to show if they've improved and whether or not they buy in.

Pumped to see Hugh and The Gooch.

I think we will win tonight but it will be maybe 4 or 5 goals. I don't think we're confident enough to win by much more. I'm more interested in our attitude and tackling, then the result takes care of itself.

But Rowie said they've won their past 5 of 6 at home :drunk:..... (he also said their only loss was to Port)

Finally......

Like your spelling of Hugh Greenwood. Huge Greenwoods will abound if he has a good game.
