It's less about rioli bashing than it is an observation on Bennell playing a dominant game in the middle of the ground.

Rioli having a killer match doesn't change the fact that Bennell was amazing. It goes further towards proving Rioli is at his best up forward ... and not as a midfielder.

Both teams should be happy with their good young exciting players.

I was more pointing to your general midfielder who racks up numbers every week.

Bennell is a gun, everytime I see him he impresses me. Just has it all, speed, skill, class, poise and can find plenty of the ball. Would not surprise me if he ends up the best of his draft class and there are some seriously good players drafted that year.

As for Rioli well the Hawks fans brought this on themselves with all the hyping as the next Gary Ablett 'just as soon as he moves into the midfield' , then several years of excuses and now he's back playing in a forward pocket. Don't get me wrong he's a good player but he's been hyped a lot more than he's produced (which isn't his fault but it does affect how people rate him).
