Great to have him back. The rebound was terrific coming out of the backline, and he gave Bradshaw, the in form full forward of the comp, an absolute pantsing. Dont ever change Scarlo!:D

Mackie looked a different player with him in. When I look at our competitors for this years flag , nearly every side has a good midfield , some have a very good forwardline , some are very good at team defense but none really have a Scarlett. Its not only what he does , its what he gets the other to play like.

Lonergan has the good fortune now to play beside him probably for the next couple of years. If Lonergan can learn by playing beside the man , he has the chance to really advance himself.

Agree 100% with Mackie. I was thinking the same thing myself. The first few games he just didn't look like he was interested or didn't look fit. He was playing like a first year player. But on Sunday he was back in form and looked like he has for the last few years.

Was listening to the game on SEN and kept hearing Dermie say 'Bradshaw's not right, I think he's got the flu'.

Dermie, you idiot, it must be a flu called Scarlett Fever!

I'm so glad he's back. I was getting worried about his injury lingering on further, but he looked just fine on Sunday. Hopefully it doesn't flare up again later in the season.
