Just got back from the Captains Run and the parade. One thing l noticed is how relaxed the boys are. Is that a good thing?
I was at Gate 2 at the MCG for the parade and all the boys were smiling, some even laughing. Pendles even stood up and flexed his muscles.
Should we worried?

I'd be more worried about Fagan and Neale looking like they're at a funeral at the presser. I actually feel more relaxed myself after seeing our guys today.

Time will tell...

Our list this year is considerably better than in 2018. Goldsack, Phillips, Thomas, Stephenson, Sier and Aish were serviceable but we have more talent now. Daicos is the youngest in our team.

Undoubtedly true but not sure I see the relevance. Weโ€™re not playing WCE of 2018 tomorrow.

Would rather them being bit more settled than ragged. Gives us a better chance to get into the game early. Be switched on and plough this Mob. Fingers crossed itโ€™s a go! #r#redemption

Not worried. It should be embraced.

I love the positive environment that Fly and co have brought to the club.

Thatโ€™s the McRae way isnโ€™t it?
Enjoy the moment. Soak it all in.
I like that. Much better than over thinking whatโ€™s to come as you cannot do a thing about that at this stage.
Enjoy the moment, let the future take its course.

No. It seems to be the consensus from all who have been there that relaxation is preferable to anxiety

I'm just watching AFL360 and Jack Riewoldt is talking about the difference between Richmond and Adelaide in the lead up to 2017 GF. Tigers happy, smiling, laughing - Crows stern, serious, trying to be intimidating. They psyched themselves out of it before the first bounce.

Our lads are nailing it

Listened to Fagan's post-parade interview again.....

He acknowledged that they'd failed a few times to get to the big dance and said that making it to a GF this year is a significant achievement. He also said that if they don't win, they'll try just as hard again next year.

By contrast, Fly and Moore said nothing that sounded like they were at all satisfied by just making it to the GF, or were contemplating anything other than victory tomorrow.

Its quite an interesting difference in the apparent mindsets.
