I just want to take this moment to comment on how awesome this board is. The guy who's clearly just trying to stir sh*t is being left to do their thing whilst if one of us went to their board to do the same we'd be banned for a week

Just of curiosity. The only outcome I can see is Kelly ends up with us next year. Why would Freo want to trade for a player that doesn't want to play for them? And if he goes to the draft (almost close to 0% chance that happens) why would a team draft someone in his current situation with his family?
I would ask what is his pressing need. To get home, and home is in WA. This would mean either Freo or WCE. This would satisfy his need to be closer to his family network and support network. Further he played for the local Fremantle club. So if his tier one priority was to get home, then either of these two options satisfies this need. If his next tier was to setup his family etc, given he was on low wages 2 years ago etc, then either FREO or GFC satisfy these needs, as they are providing the more lucrative contracts.
So what we have here is a player who wants to play for WCE for personal success, and to be close to his family.
On the other side there is the valuation of this worth. On exposed form is he as valuable as Neale and Weller and many would say yes.
simple question, if he needed all this support etc why is he still in geelong?
He didnt want to be drafted interstate in the first place he made it known before the draft he would be a flight risk .simple question, if he needed all this support etc why is he still in geelong?
I managed to sneak one post through the cracks, escaped with my lifeTo be fair, his avatar isn’t Tim Kelly in an Eagles jumper.
Just of curiosity.
If he went to the draft and say GC drafts him.
Does he have the right to stay in perth and be a bum for a year, not playing a single game, as he told every club his perth condition?
Who's give a flying f*** about the reasoning.I would ask what is his pressing need. To get home, and home is in WA. This would mean either Freo or WCE. If as an out of contract player I wanted to return to my home state for whatever reason I would object to any idiot trying to tell me which club I should go to.I would ask what is his pressing need. To get home, and home is in WA. This would mean either Freo or WCE. This would satisfy his need to be closer to his family network and support network. Further he played for the local Fremantle club. It's very arguable that the return we got for Judd was actually not good at all. Here's whyand the judd transaction netted you?
a decent return
What I mean is, that when you treat people like rubbish, they no longer want to be associated with you.what do you mean?
given ross is gone, who would have treated him without respect
It's very arguable that the return we got for Judd was actually not good at all. Here's why
-the 2007 draft was known to be weak.
-Carlton refused to include pick 1 instead of 3.
-Kennedy was an absolute spud at carlton.
Whilst I am very grateful of the deal we ended up getting, we were hoping to deal with Richmond. But we didn't, because Judd requested carlton, not Richmond.
Sounds similar to another player doesn't it?
and Joe Daniher has announced he wants to go to Sydney for “lifestyle reasons.” I bet Essendon doesn’t try to make him go to GWS
respect brotherWow I just closed a thread over there
