When the only AFL team was the cows there was an unwritten law(until Mick Nunan at North objected) that cows players were to be played in the SANFL league side.

Remember when Surj had to be transferred because Loy Raird didn't rate him and dropped him to the reserves?

Or when Boak, coming off his first AFL preseason, found himself starting in Glenelg's Twos? Arseclowns.

26 year old 100+ game AFL footballer Steven Salopek couldn't get a game in Glenelg's firsts. Aaron Young dropped from the AFL side (still retaining his spot as an emergency) and suited up for North's twos the next week.

They wonder how Port Adelaide could dare to compromise their competition. They made their bed, now they can ****ing well lie in it.

And we had to pay a 4 or 5-figure transfer fee to get him, a player we drafted from Victoria, to the Magpies.

Yeah but in all fairness it wasn't just Glenelg and Co. Lobbe had to move out of the Magpies to develop his game further.

From memory the reported fee was 5 grand. Hopefully we paid it in Zimbabwean Dollars.

I hope we got some change.

Just an aside, I made 5 meals of spag Bol (for a family of 6) for $16.....$3.20 per meal. These ******* muppets have no idea how to save money on food :)

I just do the ol classic 'Eggs, Frozen Vegetables and Rice, add Chili Sauce' when I'm ridiculously poor. Stupidly cheap, has enough nutrients and fills me up.

It wasn't enough that Boak started in the reserves, they kept him there for a second week just to prove the point. campaigners.

For anybody who managed to endure the 5DoubleCrow sports show to the end, did they end up lowering their standards by actually talking about a fairly important game that's apparently on this evening?
'Crows fans, what song do you want to sing at crows games?' Followed by a series of songs that they would like to sing. Rucci in the background saying it has to mean something. Cornes saying NTUA means nothing because the Sanfl only ever wanted to help port.

How can you analyse a final when you have Betty from West Lakes ringing in saying that they should sing 'you are, we are, we are South Australian' or Bill from Largs Bay suggesting 'we can't be beaten' by angry Anderson.

Nice summary of the whole program.

I heard Portland talking about Sanfl finals last Sunday on the abc. The guy has a head for radio and a voice for the newspaper.

Sounds like a ******* jockey.
Always been a hater. Throwing shade I believe is the modern term. :p

Cornes saying NTUA means nothing because the Sanfl only ever wanted to help port.

So sending us to Ethelton in 1997 was meant to help us? Setting Port supporter against Port supporter was meant to help us? Making sure Port had no voting rights in the SANFL was meant to help us?

How can you analyse a final when you have Betty from West Lakes ringing in saying that they should sing 'you are, we are, we are South Australian' or Bill from Largs Bay suggesting 'we can't be beaten' by angry Anderson.

She couldn't even get the words right. It's "I am, you are, we are....."

Similar to the birth of the Crows, these campaigners seem to think that they can artificially manufacture a thin veneer of atmosphere by using some gimmicky random song. What they don't understand is that NTUA has grown because each and every member has connected with that song in a personal way regarding the treatment of the PAFC by the SANFL.
