This has been a memorable weekend but ... the media has a shocker.
Tuned into 3au before the northvgeelong game - gave no respect to the game ahead - even CARO waffled on about the LION on a leash. Shocking radio
And yesterdays morning dribble on Fiveaa was atrocious ... re the song for Adelaide.
It's a case of 'look at ME ME ME'
And todays wank in the sunday mail about Sydney...
The footy was sensational though

Wines better in every single quantifiable statistic at the same age. Shut up Harvey...no one cares about Cunnington or your shit team.

Oh yeah David Wildy you flog, you were pwned twice yesterday. First by Keith Thomas then by Port Adelaide.

Back to sticking pins in your David Koch doll, clownshoes.

lol what happened?

More info please Falcon

Pre-game he was banging on and on about if we lose it's a wasted season and we won't have improved. He was really banking on us losing that game so he could say we were no better than we were last year.

They had KT on about a half hour before the game and Wildy ran this line of thought past him and Keith was incredulous. How could you possibly think that? Keith pointed out how many games we had won convincingly this year, how we had dominated so many games, how we had beaten Hawthorn, Geelong, Fremantle, run Sydney to a few points in Sydney. We had improved our overall performances so much that Keith had no doubt, not a scintilla of doubt that we are a better side than last year, hallelujah! Put Wildy right back in his box.

At half time Wildy would have been grinning into his latte and then 2014 Port came out and smashed the game that looked all but lost. Post-match he was still banging on about, IF Port had lost this. no injures, if they play like they did in the first half against Hawthorn, wah wah wah, call the wahmbulance Wildy you poonce.

You can imagine what it was like with Rowe and Nick Stevens there too. Poor Timmy Ginever was getting bombarded but in the true Port Adelaide tradition, Timmy had the last laugh.

Rowe was like the guy who was eating a particularly fine T-Bone steak, then swallowed the bone. Port were really good but gag gag gag ... :D

Cunnington (23 years old) has only had one good season this year & he is still shaded by Ollie in almost every stat it's quite amazing really Ollie vs Cunnington

Edit: whoops should've read the rest of the posts Janus has already posted the comparison  :)

Just makes the victory that much sweeter. campaigners
The whole Nick Stevens thing leaves me bewildered. Very strange choice to call Port games unless of course you look at it through Crow coloured glasses then it makes perfect sense.

I'd hate too imagine how good Wines will be at 23! mind blowing to even think it.

KT... Put Wildy right back in his box.

The Wildy Hypothesis:

"If a commentator assesses a season based purely on arbitrary ladder positions they will be exposed for their first class assbaggery."
