I'm sick and tired of their opinions on our history, like that tweet yesterday. "You were established 1997 not 1870, Port Magpies and Port Power are 2 seperate clubs, you've only won one flag not 2 like we have" bla bla bla. Let us be proud of our history FFS, but at the end of the day what is most important is the now and the future and right now we have an AFL preliminary final and and SANFL Grand final to play in this weekend and they finished a couple weeks back as the 10th ranked side in the AFL and 3rd to bottom in SANFL.

Loved the stumbles he made when informed via e-mail that in Round 11 last year we had a bye.

Loved the stumbles he made when informed via e-mail that in Round 11 last year we had a bye.

If my maths is right, Ollie will play his 50th game in the grand final if we beat Hawthorn. All being well, let's hope it's the most memorable 50th in the history of the game!!!!!

They tipped Richmond to smash us cause they won 9 in a row, the jumper fiasco, and Chaplin was going to make us look silly.

They tipped Fremantle to end our season cause they finished top 4 and were playing at home.

not surprised they're tipping Hawthorn because they've had a weeks rest and it's at the MCG.
If we beat them it'll just make victory even sweeter, more so this week than the other 2 weeks. If we lose they can't say we choked because they all expected Hawthorn to win anyway.

as the saying goes, they shouldn't get bitter, they should worry about getting better.

Absolutely, and despite what Port haters may or may not say, I certainly wouldn't party any less because of outside perception. There's some damn good teams in this year's finals, and if we manage to beat them all - especially from 5th, it'll be a sensational effort.
