All Dittmar had to do was ask why Dixon remained in when Butcher was dropped. Ken needs to be held accountable for specific decisions like that.

David Koch on fiveaa just now: "It has been an incredibly disappointing frustrating year on a whole number of levels. We will adjust accordingly at the end of the year.”
He goes on to say that he expects a big effort for the showdown, pride in club, pride in game. We are absolute underdogs but he is sure the effort will be there.
Then, in usual Koch style, or else as a reminder to us at Port, he gives accolades to the unsung heroes of the Crows board and Chapman and the the incredibly brave controversial decisions they made a couple of years ago to get the club to where they are now.

Yeah that made me cringe. He's hell bent on this 'good citizen' thing.

Besides, sacking a coke fiend and throwing money at your rival's coaches until one said yes is hardly brave.

Haven't heard the Ken interview, nor probably will I, but from what I can gather it seems to be the passion that has been missing from the coaches box since last year is making a surface. Maybe if he was allowed to punch walls we would have a better game day coach? It's just a thought

Fish rots from the head and with the mentality of Koch pumping up the crows and wanting to be everyones second team, we are infected from the top and it goes right through the club

Wonder what big Bob McLean and Fos Williams would be thinking of this kind of stuff
McLean & Williams would not talk up any other Club.
I don't know why Koch does geez ............:thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown:
Do you ever hear anyone from the Crows talking up Port ..........

Talking up other clubs is rubbish. What could it possibly do to aid us? What could it possibly do to aid football in general?

Just don't comment on other clubs. It's not hard. We should be pressuring Koch on twitter about this tbqh.

Ditts certainly panicked. All he needed to do was have some composure and he could have asked some reasonable questions around team selection this year.

John Butcher has kicked 5 goals in 2 weeks at AFL level and his 1 goal last week was 25% of our score against Sydney, why was he dropped and Dixon retained who has 1 goal in 4 weeks and is obviously struggling with injury?

When Matthew Lobbe returned from a long-term injury the club emphasised he would need matches at SANFL level to regain fitness and form before AFL selection. So why did Jay Schulz who missed 12 weeks after having back surgery go straight back into the AFL team after 1 SANFL game? A match that he looked very rusty in and struggled. The fact he is now back struggling at SANFL level, does the club take blame for this mismanagement?

Do you feel you have had the opportunity to drop other senior players for poor form this year? Did you feel after the loss to Freo who were 2-10 at the time and not won another game since beating Port was a chance to make a serious statement at the selection table? Have you been too trusting to a senior group that has let you down and will see finals missed for the second consecutive season?

Before missing the GWS match through illness Jake Neade had played 16 games and was only averaging 11 touches and less than a goal a game. Should he have been dropped earlier? Is his role primarily to apply pressure? Is there any expectation to get the ball or contribute goals?

Where do you think Justin Westhoff is best utilised? Are you concerned at all with his consistency from quarter to quarter?
Those are probably simplistic questions but it would at least show Ditts had given selection some serious thought.
