Life will be really good if we can win the flag this year.

Don’t care about Carlton.
And that's when we'll claim outright top of the heap, equal most flags and ahead of the rest of the competition in all other metrics.

Our true place.

I'll take Cripps over Caro any day - see she's up to her gutter muck again - even if she conceded her error

Another damning loss this week and I suspect the cage rattling will become too much.
Young bloke at my work actually believes they will get Dimma next year.

The delusion gets passed down through the Carlton generations.

Ironically, the best result for us is for Carlton to beat Melbourne.

Keeps Melbourne well behind us and ensures Voss gets more time to steer Carlton into complete oblivion.

Be kind, he probably believes in Santa and the Easter Bunny as well.

You just have to play along with it.

Round 11 2022, 8-2 white hot favourite Carlton meet 5-5 Collingwood, a game that Carlton was expected to win to usher in their new era of contention. Collingwood would win the game surviving a Silvagni last gasp snap from 30 out to win the game. Collingwood would extend the win streak to 11 in a row booking a top 4 spot while Carlton would collapse and miss the finals in the dying moments of the final round clash between the two sides 12 weeks later.
Fast forward to the end of Round 11 2023, Collingwood are 10-1 while Carlton are a club in turmoil with fans even considering starting a new rebuild.
At the midpoint of the 2022 season Carlton saw the light at the end of the tunnel, it turned out to be a train coming the other way

Also, we had finally squared the ledger with Carlton with the club head-to-head results. They could have cruelled us by pulling back away. But no, we overtook them and are now three in front.

Hopefully the blues get up, then the vossy extension will be back on the cards. It’s really a win win for pies fans.

Not just a normal train, but a damn big one coming at top speed.

Board members are jointly responsible, and nobody wants to draw the ACCC’s attention.
Are you suggesting Carlton's last few decades of uncompetitive play has gone so far as to damage consumers? You could be onto something.

Although given Fels left the ACCC long ago, it's unlikely.

Don't think current Carlton Board has anything to do with Sayers' time at PwC

I’m sure it doesn’t.

But do his fellow directors want ACCC probing around into their affairs to make sure?

What’s the risk of damage to their reputation if Sayers goes down?
