Not long ago a 2005 hertiage guernsey went for almost $700 on eBay (I posted it in the memorabilia thread). Retail version too, not even a PI.

I have it, signed as well. Was closer to 400 (actually might have been $250), I really can't remember.
I don;t live with a female, so I can put my shit up wherever I like (still goes in the 'pool room' though).

I'd ask my old lady or a friend to go there if I couldn't. Would I ask 5 friends? 10? Club contacts? No, no and no.

I am sure Chokito isn't the only person trying to take advantage of connections to get the best stuff. His mistake is all the self-promotion that puts him in the spotlight. I personally don't give a shit how many PI guernseys he's got. But it would help everyone if he didn't come here bragging about it and calling people salty when they complain about his behaviour. Be smarter.

Where did you get this one? I have Rodan's match worn from that day but didn't think we were allowed to produce any for sale other than the match worns that got auctioned off.

Well it is. He is not doing anything illegal, he is not harming anoyone, he is just using mates to get him some second hand clothes.

People don't like that, the reasoning varies between it's not fair to he should only use 3 mates instead of 5.

The abuse he is receiving is ****ing ludicrous.

We all have no issue if he gets people to line up LIKE EVERYONE ELSE to buy stuff. But not getting stuff taken off the rack before the sale is even on.

I didn't abuse him or anyone else but having read today that he's using someone at the club (again) to help him get in first, along with other contacts, I decided it's not worth the time or effort to get down there.

It's exploiting a situation at the expense of other supporters and that doesn't sit right with me. Claim I'm being morally superior, I couldn't give a shit. I hope he feels warm and fuzzy inside with a wardrobe full of PI gear.

That very night I looked on eBay and there was already a stack of them up on eBay, including a Nathan Lonie going for $240 buy it now. Utterly ridiculous.

Either Nathan Lonie bought it or someone in his immediate family did because I have no idea who would buy a Nathan Lonie jumper for $24 let alone $240.
