Just a quick bit of back story into the place...there were approx 20 tribes in the region with different dialects for 40 odd thousand years. Fighting,trading etc.Then priest says these people need jesus and builds a mission and gets all these tribes to live together. So the younger generation watch mtv etc and name their tribal gangs after popular culture. And Kylie girls and celine dion mob is funny but that's how it is

I have previously seen this so knew a tiny bit about it but that article you posted was the first I'd heard about the female versions.

Theres even a German boys gang where they graffiti nazi symbols and racist propaganda. English is a 2nd or 3rd language for a lot of the indigenous there. I do feel for them but they are sometimes their own worst enemy also
