Why exactly is this our Grand Final? We are sitting in the top 4 playing 2nd bottom of the ladder.

Anyways, did you notice Bowes, Bruhn, Holmes, and Dempsey? The rebuild looked alright to me.

The only reason those players don't make up the majority of the worst midfield in the AFL right now is because our whole starting midfield is missing.

Sums up why the only win you've had in a month is an injury depleted side sitting 17th on the ladder.

None of those players would get anywher near Carlton's best 22.
It doesn't sum up why you said "pensioners" when our best players were all in the first half of their career and mostly in the first few years.

Bruhn and Bowes would replace Kennedy and Cincotta.

Zuthrie would slot in for Kemp/Cowan.

Holmes has had a much better season than Acres.

Dempsey has surpassed both of the Hollands and every Carlton forward pocket/flanker.

Atkins on tonight's form was better than Hewett's average game.

Gotta say us being terrible then getting dragged over the line by our under 22 contingent and Jack Bowes is one of the funnier ways tonight could've gone.

Awww diddums.

Baker was sensational. Dow had a career game. McAuliffe played very well. It fell away after that with a few veterans refusing to step into midfield.

Kennedy, Kemp, Cincotta & Cowan showcasing our depth - none make our best 22 when fit.

Dempsey isn't fit to tie Jack Martin's shoelaces. Hewett woudln't even know who Atkins is.

Max Holmes is a 4/10 footballer. Ridiculous to compare him to the best winger in the game and a proven September specialist.

You got any other young "talent"? So far a I see a lot of list cloggers padding our VFL side.

Jack Martin isn't fit enough to tie his own shoelaces 90% of the time.

Perhaps his best game for the club.

Richmond had their VFL side on the park.

Looked like the perfect level for Bowesy to shine.
Carlton in their pomp
Checks ladder
Sees Carlton
Laughs

Stick to overcelebrating those Preliminaryships.

Richmond youth nearly rolled Geelong's ageing pensioners.

Sums things up really.

Sydney lost to them, Essendon beat them by 12 points, and Carlton won by 5.....we beat them by 30 in a percentage booster. I don't think you can sum things up from one singular performance but if I did, that wouldn't be it.

Your best 22 replacements are no better than those who can shuffle in and out.

The rest of your post was highly entertaining and delusional as usual.

Look at the coaches votes for Holmes.

Dempsey is in the top few for the rising star.

Stengle is in AA form.

Zuthrie has surpassed Stewart this year.

Bruhn and Bowes best few games have been great. Consistency is the next step.

O.Henry is better than any young Carlton forward.

I'm glad to be keeping you busy in this thread. We are obviously doing something right if so.

Lachie Fogarty is getting a game for your mob, imagine if he stayed at Geelong trying to get a game ahead of Stengle, Miers, Close, Dempsey etc. Understandably he did what was best for his career and switched to a lesser team for more senior game time.
