Yup I imagine the same.

I will pop down on wed. But I'm heading to the GC for the weekend. Good luck to anyone going down on Friday. 41 C. :O

I gone to a Intra-Club when it's been that hot

Yeah. I've been to trainings when its been quite hot. Its not ideal, as there is no shade

Well I went in 2009 I think when we where at Gosh's Paddock as I remember after going to that I went back to the Holden Center to look in the Shops and Bucks came in afterwards when he was not at the Club.

The Asphalt was hard to work on as feel heat thru it.

Was When we had about 4-5 Days of Days in the 40's

Sadly Dave, that sounds like the end of the 1st week in February 2009. On the 9th Black Saturday at 46 degrees... As a resident of Hurstbridge we just escaped with the wind change... still it was a front line for so many people...

Do you think there will be no training thIs Friday with the temp hitting the 40's, after a 37 degree day on Thursday?
Nah they will train. Might start early on Friday. Might get to the 30's by the time training finishes. They'll be used to that

bizarre they didn’t take it out at the end of last season. Why wait for Christmas? You’d think you’d plan to have him ready For round 1.

bloody Collingwood
My understanding is they can leave the rod in, and only remove it if it's causing issues.

Not sure if that was their plan, but it does make some sense of why he played last year, only to now have it removed.

Yeah I’m with you, his one of our weapons up forward, but it might serve his hammies well to have minutes in the midfield tho.

I don't mind him playing a few minutes in the midfield to change it up a bit.. but I liken him to Maynard at the other end of the pitch.. not the style of play of course.. these 2 were born to play in their current spots.

It's like they're missing a gene to play long periods in the guts.

I agree 100% and like your turn of phrase. You captured the essence of my own thoughts on their roles. Great players but are tailor made for their spots.

When I was at training on Friday Elliott spent quite a bit of time in the guts and did well. Him being there might be because Jordy still appears to be on a managed program and they want some different bodies in there.

JDG and Elliott rotating full forward and mid.

Has he been training with the mids? I was like haaa.. I wouldn't do it. The blokes a striker if I've ever seen one.

I don’t mind him spending a bit more time in the middle but I wouldn’t over do it. I think it might help him to get in to the game a bit more. It can be hard to get in to the game as a forward at times. Having a run in the middle can help.

Who knows..

Perhaps they're trying to figure out how to best utilize Stephenson De Goey and Elliot in the one side.. decoys.. space.. main target etc

I reckon you’re on the money. Those two rotating would be a nightmare for match ups.

All three in our f50 fit & firing will be a sight for sore eyes.

Part of the fit and firing would be how to best score on the day.. if it means De Goey not slotting one through on the day cause he's allowing room for someone else to exploit their opponent for 6 sausage rolls but he's had 15 possessions and a coupla of direct assists.. then that's what it's about. Selflessness.
