Was looking like would be elite prior to the first ACL. Lost a bit of pace and agility and looked to stunt his development. Seemed to lose his feet a lot when coming back from the injury. Defensive ability 1-on-1 didn't seem to be great. Worrell looks to be a good replacement and we didn't look to lose much in the short term swapping them. Reckon he will still be a solid player if he can stay on the field.

Hope we get some OK compensation and use it well.

Lets take some spud's contract in return for band 1 compo because apparently that's allowed.

We should genuinely attempt to do this. Do it publicly. Either it will get turned down and then extra focus will be put on other clubs trying it, or it will be allowed and we benefit.

Won’t be missed.
Dropped out of the Leadership Group for reasons unknown.
Played the Free Agency game instead of signing on earlier in the season.
Offered a reduced contract and used the media to make it look like we were the bad guys.
Would not surprise if the Brisbane offer has been on the table well before he did his knee.

Completely agree. Rare occasion it works for everyone.

I think he’ll play a good role for Brisbane.

Assuming the FA compo would come out as end of 2nd round (pick 39), so I wonder if we'd match and ask Brisbane for Pick 27?

Would assume if we got a 2nd rounder which would be pick 30 then we'd let him leave without matching.

Backman of his calibre are rare. Yeah I know he’s done a couple of ACL’s, but these days players seem to be better at coming back from them. He came across as a goood honest competitor. He’ll do well at Brisbane. For our part we gotta use our compensation pick wisely.

Let's be honest we have Michalanney come through and we have solid intercepting options with Hinge, Worrell and possibly Burgess. Like the loss of Lever before, this is an area I think is pretty well covered.
