And that is a very fair point. As I said when I edited the last post. Talls provides a team with structure and we have no need for another mid at this time
Unless we really don't rate any of the talls around pick 6. You don't pick a KPP just for the sake of it.Or Carlton took Kane Lucas the best available or Talia. There are plenty of examples either way as drafting is not an exact science but we need the tall so we have to take it

Add to the mix: Quality talks are harder to get than quality mediums / on ballers.
So that's the dilemma clubs face, do they opt for the quality tall over the elite mid.
The one caveat is to get the pick right.
Franklin elite superstar.
Us, we took Josh Fraser. And at the time he was seen as by far the the very best and obvious number 1 pick.
If only..... we had taken Matthew Pavlich. But we didn't. Cost? Maybe a flag or two? Unknown. But he would have made us far better than Fraser who was a nice player.
Or if Nick Riewoldt's year was the Fraser year (I think nick was next year).....
But that's the luck of the year and who you actually pick.
Here's hoping we get a star maybe Balta becomes that? But that surely must be the aim.
Interesting. I though that they were keen on Hayes at 5.Maybe they see him becoming a big bodied mid? I’m just going on rumours from Freo posters saying they’re in to him.
Don't go all KB on me, Seeds.Yeah alright let's trade out Moore we could get a mid that's all you need
Correct.Maybe they question it as. are then any ELITE players left at 6 in any position or size if yes you take one. Maybe they only rate 4 players in the elite category maybe theres 12 i don't know.

Reported this morning that Richmond is again nibbling around Scache. Been plsying possum in the hope of a low ball offerCollingwood / Carlton
Nothing unusual there.Hey look Seedsfan managed to make another thread all about him
It's interesting I can't come up with a single player of ours they'd be interested in dealing on Atkins for. Therein lies the problem of our current position. The guys we can afford to lose have no value and the guys with value we can't afford to lose.
Who did ~TheScout~ used to post here as?
Hoskin-Elliott is the player we hoped Young would be. We don't need another.Rory Atkins?
I've got Clinton Young nightmares all over again.
Please no.
IF the Rumours are True and we are into Atkins and we get Him.
I doubt we Draft Copperfield as we got 2 similar types in Atkins and Murray
There you go! Infrequent poster last spotted on our forum in 2011. That's a real shame.
Leon and Dids weren't bad.Atkins and Murray don't have the same magic as Copperfield. It'd be a left field choice, but I like it. We haven't had anyone truly magical since Peter Daicos.
If tbhe report in the Age yesterday is true I think that Richmond will find Brisbane incredibly difficult to deal with. A low ball offer might work with another team, but I reckon they’ll make Richmond pay full value.Reported this morning that Richmond is again nibbling around Scache. Is he? Pretty sure he went on holidays with the ‘Bali boys’ this offseason.Isn’t he Keeffe and thomas’s Mate?
At least greenwood is a solid character
On what measure?Brown? Dunn is better.
The eyes test has him a much better kick. As good in one on ones. More proactive and less reactive thus gets caught trailing less often. On what measure?
Ability to grow a beardOn what measure?
Equivalent stopping power with better disposal. On what measure?
Although he can walk through walls of players, there's always a risk that he will just disappear during games. For that reason, Do.Not.Want.
