They do know what they are doing, it's just carlton have reverted back to the old days and got greedy, the AFL will step in and tell carlton to take 19 and if they don't then they are just as bad as carlton considering that they don't like players futures being screwed around with.

Plenty of clubs this year need points for there academy kids, both of our picks should net us something very good this year in terms of a possible player+top10 pick this year.

How do we get Yarran if we give up picks 12 & 19 for say pick 8?

There are only 2 scenarios as to why we traded for pick 19;

1) There's someone we want really bad at that pick

Or

2) Carlton have agreed to take pick 19 for Yarran, maybe with some other picks involved?

I'm not quite sure what more you are wanting them to do?

We gave up a second rounder in a shallow draft and a future second round pick for a first round pick this year.

I'm honestly confused as to what more you are expecting from the club?

I'd bring Alex Ferguson over for a holiday and in-between the occasional glass of claret and the ribs from that great place on Southbank, would get him to have a chat with our players.
A proper chat.

They would never again give anything less than 100% on the field.

Excellence is the minimum requirement.

He can be a quite inspirational old granddad.

Scouser: Shankley would have also done the same job.
