Well Luenberger would have been nice since our ruck division is cactus. For nothing but salary cap space he would have represented great value.
Targeting Suckling would have been a good idea for me. Versatile players are going to be handy.
There's others but going for a run. I'll come back to it.

Loonberger is leaving lions as he wants to be the #1 ruck. Not going to get that here for a year or two.
Suckling, we have enough HBF players so why waste salary space on him?

Luenberger hasn't played a full season in 4 years. We have 2 rucks who are okay whereas Geelong, Sydney and Essendon actually have worse ruck stocks then when we had Graham and Browne.
Suckling is absolutely meh player. Hawks make him what he is, for us he wouldn't fix our biggest problems of inside mid, speed and small forward.

Just becuause there is a sale it dosnt mean you have to buy.
Bring in Townesend, Yarran and keep 12 and I'll be very happy.
Yarran fixes our small foward problem and he can go back/wing if we need.
Townesend is potentially a beast of a midfielder. Give him the angry pills and he will be good for us

Parker will not join us. I'll actually be very surprised if he comes back to Vic at all.

That is a massive call. Browne was a trier who wasn't blessed with great skill or athleticism. Angus Graham had the smallest heart of any AFL player ever.
I would of course prefer the doozy, but would be happy with this if we hang on to lennon as well

Might be exaggerating slightly. But Sydney just lost Pyke, Derrickx is poor and Nankervis is a kid. Essendon have Bellchambers thats it, they had to put Carlisle in the ruck as Bellchambers was so poor. Cats have no genuine ruck but some decent fill in rucks Bilcavs, Vardy, Clark and Stanley all injured a lot.
Between the 3 teams Pyke is probably the only genuine 1st choice ruck and he has now retired.

Did Pyke retire??? Sydney could be on the way down if so, losing him, Goodes, Jetta etc. Majority of their list and depth seems average, apart from the 'Twin Tower' forwards and a beast midfield there isn't much there.

So richmond. He is 24 now and never had an impact. 2 clearances and 6 contested possessions per game and only 13 touches a game, hardly screams big bodied inside mid.
