As i have said many many many times mate - i don't pretend to ever know anything about this kids not in the AFL yet. I don't watch it & unlike you guys, don't pretend to be an expert at everything. I let the club do what it does, then judge them on the results.

The results speak for themselves i reckon - don't think i'm the one having to "prove" anything there

yeah - its called waiting until you have the data before you judge people on their work.

If i have a builder come into the house and i pay him to be the expert builder - and he tells me that this is his plan, it will end up looking amazing. And 4 years later it looks nothing like they told me and is a total write off. Then i dare say, i can judge that builder on his work far more accurately than just making uneducated guesses prior to the work starting?

Are we just not mean to "judge" the clubs performances? what exactly are you getting at here buddy?

yeah i admit that. I know nothing, i rarely make post about "who the club" should draft, rather i wait to see the results before weighing up if they did a good job. Pretty much all of you here don't. You read shit. then regurgitate it to be your own opinion. I reckon there would be lucky to be 1% of people on BF that really know anything of worth about the draft classes outside of them regurgitating articles they have read

its pretty simple.

they pick the players

they develop and coach the players

If they succeed, they did a great job. If they flame out, then they did a shit job.

One thing is certain - its not MY job

because we need to be draft whores at them moment, chasing virgins and then we step up to experienced campaigners when we have our future stars already slotted in

Be realistic. Even if we did manage to get that amount of picks in the first round, we would try and use those picks to move up the order and get multiple picks in the top 8

We will still draft many kids this year. Trading for a 24 year old James Peatling isn't going to hamstring us in the draft.
