I wouldnt be too sure about Bolton to freo now

Why has he not nominated a club ? There is no reason
Eagles could pay him more than freo and with Baker , graham & Mini going there and Matty Clarke head of list management
anything could happen

Bolton will be at Freo based on past reports, zero doubt in my mind about that.
And it’s a good thing given the draft hand they hold, as they’ll be desperate to get him.

Brisbane cannot get Ashcroft and Marshall if we select Ashcroft at #1 and any club select Marshall before pick 25.

The maximum a club can go into deficit is 985 points. (The value of future pick 18) and they are about 1800 points short for both kids. We can make them pay up with their F1 as well as pick 18 or they likely miss Marshall. Other alternative is they trade out a player.

18 + Future 1st (likely anywhere from 15 to 18) for 29,39,41,47,57,66 & 72. Over 2000 points for this years draft for the lions but we also get a future 1st. Doesn't matter where that lands, its still an extra first rounder.
