Lord really battled this year. He's 22 now, playing in a top team and not doing much at all, meh.

Possibly injury affected, could be like Tracey and have a full breakout next year after having a down year the year prior.

One of those cases where you would have to overpay on this current output but could potentially get a bargain. Or its a case of him being figured out and being no good after showing promising signs early.

Not the type of trade I would make in a draft like this years.

Can’t see any reason to recruit a mature KPF this year. We already have 6 contracted + Samson, and there are 5-6 ones rated in the top 30 of this draft.

Originally a pick 29 in 2020, but he's behind a few in a good Hawthorn team at the moment. Was delisted and re-rookied at end of 2022, so we could pick him up for free as a DFA when he's out of contract at the end of next year.

No way should we be trading out those picks if there are still good players available at those selections. Use them when you know their worth, not gamble that next years will be better. Just imo

Thats what our talent identification team is there to work out
They will know what quality is available at picks 1-20 and if their rankings of the player available this year is higher then they will take the player and not worry about trading into 2025

I like it. Plays similarly to Rioli, very fast and takes the game on. Just not as good obviously.

Jai Serong would be worth chatting to as well, 193cm defender but has the running ability to be a big mid. Similar traits to weddle. I recall a few posters on here being pretty keen on him during his draft year but he was a bit of slider. Get Jai in either this off season or next and then grab big brother Caleb when we are ready to salute

I heard it said that the trade would be nothing apart from West Coast paying 200k of his wages.

They may well and probably will take one KPF in this draft. One of Armstrong, Shanahan,Whitlock twins, Foul, Simms
