You’re assuming Ken survives another year let alone this finals seriesTough sell but get Kenny high on enough coke and I reckon we could have a deal
We could even give 9. Think it's unlikely they'll be selecting a similar player to us and maybe that's how they take local talent Bo AllenI'd be happy with it. 10 is likely to be pushed back to 12 or 13 with Ashcroft/Battle/Lombard.
So even in this draft you think pick 3 is better than two picks…I guess it depends on what they are but I’d take the two given people here are floating so many players for the top 10. I’d also point out that there are no guarantees that anyone we pick with #3 ends up being a star

He’s a dead man walking
Coke Zero to go out of business
Ray Gun managed to qualify for Olympic finals. Maybe coached by Ken. Made it and then shit the bed.How this campaigner still has a job is beyond me it’s raygun territory

rather you play for us than that squibI hear Jack Lukosius may be on the Table at the Suns.
Any chance we would be interested? I don't mind him as a player.
Only 24 so would still be a good age in 4-5 years when some of these new kids we get are at there prime.
100%spot onDid you see him on the field carrying on like a tool towards team mates this year? Add to that shirking contests.
I thought he was a very good footballer, but had my eyes opened up to him this year.
I'm very concerned that he is a vice captain of the club with what I saw.
So that's the equivalent of trading Baker for pick 22 in terms of points (pick 3 is 2234 and pick 10 is 1395 - 839 point difference which equals about pick 22), except Ashcroft and Lombard are probably bid on by 10 so that pushes that pick to 12 - 1268 points so that would make it about 960 point difference or pick 17-18). The points are in there, I'm too tired to work it out. I would do that deal though...So Baker and pick 10 for pick 3?

Huhhhhhhhh????? How can you reach this conclusion when Baker has requested a trade?Would suck if we did this.
I’d rather keep baker and have pick 10 than exchange both for pick 3
I wouldn't. You use pick 2 on Trainor because he's good, you need him and he's a North supporter. We'll take more players because we need more players. 1, 3, 6, 9 and 13/20, another first (bris), 21, 22 will do us for this year.I think it would have to be 6 and 10 to get it done
Agreed. Would like a future 3rd thrown in but just for shits and gigs.Huhhhhhhhh????? How can you reach this conclusion when Baker has requested a trade?
Baker and pick 10 for pick 3 is amazing!
With everything else that we could do, there is a real chance we end up with pick 1, 3, 6, 9.
It's literally the perfect outcome...
People care too much about winning every trade when they should be thinking of it like a game of chess.Agreed. Would like a future 3rd thrown in but just for shits and gigs.
1, 3 and 6 could realistically net us FOS, Jagga and Lalor.Would be
1 3 6 9
Instead of the original floated barass compo
1 6 9 10 12
So essentially giving up 10&12 for 3

Good point although I think it would have been a stretch to get 12 for the uncontracted Baker.Would be
1 3 6 9
Instead of the original floated barass compo
1 6 9 10 12
So essentially giving up 10&12 for 3

100% spot on1, 3 and 6 could realistically net us FOS, Jagga and Lalor.
In my opinion, having control of your own destiny is severely underrated. If we have identified certain players that we want to take early, having the flexibility of 1, 3 and 6 is significant.
With the imminent departure of Josh Battle, Saints could end up holding picks 7 and 8 which starts pushing everything back.
This is the most important draft we will have for the foreseeable future. We have to have a semblance of control at the top end.
Then we take Allan at 9.I’m doing it.
Bakes is out of contract. He could walk even if he never would. It gets a guy to where he wants to go who’s given us two flags.
It almost guarantees us Lalor. To be able to get FOS and Lalor is game changing. Plus we’d still have pick 9 and more to come.
For West Coast, it brings in Baker who is a leader and WA boy. It probably gets them Bo Allan who’s a power athlete midfielder who is from WA. It’s a very nice combo. Their fans won’t be happy, but it is probably fair enough.
It ends up being Pick 3 for Liam Baker and Pick 12 after bids.
We have gone past what he can offer Richmond and need to look at the next generation unless its a throw away pickRiccardi named as an emergency for the giants

is Jagga better than having both Taj Hotton and Harvey Langford?Would be
1 3 6 9
Instead of the original floated barass compo
1 6 9 10 12
So essentially giving up 10&12 for 3
