I reckon both Short and Baker have shown just as much at the least, as Graham has as a forward.

Baker maybe but graham having a big body and being tough might be important even with the new players.

Cripps. Cerra. Walsh. Kennedy etc. More attack on the contest the better

It’s confusing because of the moving parts, but essentially teams can have a maximum of 44 players broken down:

Primary list: 36 - 38 players
Rookie List: 4 - 6 (depending on primary list [if 38 on primary list, 4 rookie spots are available, if 36 on primary list 6 rookie spots are available]).
Cat-B Rookie: 0-2 players.

With Hopper and Taranto, and the delistings recently announced, our list is currently:

Primary List: 33 players
Rookie List : 4 players (Jacob Bauer, Marlion Pickett, Biggie Ngyoun and Ben
Miller)
Cat- B: Rookie: 1 player (Mate Colina).

We have to upgrade Pickett because the maximum time you can spend on the rookie list is four seasons before either promotion or re-drafted and re-rookied in the pre-season draft.

I suspect that Marlion moving to the primary list will be done at our current pick 84.

It would mean that through the draft period we have:
Primary List: 2-4 spots available (likely to be draft picks)
Rookie List: 1-3 spots available (my bet is they take 2 in the rookie draft and leave one for mid-season draft or supplementary selection period)
Cat-B: 1 spot available (expect this to not be filled).

It’s all a numbers game, but I suspect that’s how we go. If we sign a DFA onto the primary list (which I doubt), we’d have one less rookie selection.

Hope that helps.
With our picks (or lack of draft picks) it would seem like we might be going to go to the minor leagues and try to get some developing key position talls. It seems smarter than getting an 18yo skinny kid at pick 53 and waiting 3 years for him to be strong enough. Get the talls after they have filled out and played against men for a few years

Bring back the Bean

Jed Anderson being delisted is absolutely crazy and gives heavy weight to the Clarkson rumours.

Personally, I want him at Richmond. He's a great player, inconsistent but gee, adds more depth to the midfield. Harshly done by here.

Jed Anderson is an interesting player , I wouldnt mind him as a Rookie Selection as insurance but who does he actually replace in our team

Ross, Sonsie and Graham will all struggle to consistently make the team next year. Don't see a need for Jed anderson at all

He'll be 29 all of next year and it will take us all season to train the Norf out of him. Decent player but not for us.

nooo GIF

Didnt take long for a few to forget we just landed two gun inside mids.

0 need for Jed Anderson.
