We will have a spare pick to choose a ruck mid season if necessary or will possibly rookie a journeyman ruck if necessary.
That could work I guess. Lets hope you're right and the ruck doesn't become a problem next year if we offload Soldo

Bit like the Toby Greene one the night before. Hasn't asked for a trade, is probably upset Taranto and Hopper are going. Nothing story
Yeh and its definitely come from GWS, they seem to like airing everything out publicly

He’s a reasonable kick when he settles just struggles a bit when going full tilt

Most players struggle with that. He just needs more games to build the maturity to know when to slow down for those last couple of steps before he kicks it

You can say that about any player. I look at Sonsie for instance and the bloke has had half a season and has a laser rocket leg.

I get players are different. Play different positions and develop at different rates I just do not see it with Ralphsmith. In the same bucket as RCD, Dow and Martyn for me.

Ralphsmith's ability to break the lines will be critical in the future the way the game is heading.

Interesting how quickly we knocked back the idea of trading Ralphsmith. Club must rate him highly.

Personally, I still feel he has a lot of holes in his game and think our draftees from last year will start to overtake him next year.
Have to agree. His kicking can be really poor. And despite his speed, he sort of glides at one pace, doesn't ever seem to really explode.

With that said, if he can develop into a winger similar to Langdon at Melbourne, bobbing up everywhere, he will probably end up being a perfect replacement for Pickett or Kmac in the next couple of years.

Thanks Damo I guess.
More concerned about the "when" not the "if".

It's clear, they're dragging out the announcement of the Hopper trade to keep the Richmond fans engaged with trade radio and social media for clicks and views/listens.

I wouldn't be surprised if we still see Graham being traded late.
The only clubs that would have money to offer graham an appealling enough long term contract are the saints or essendon, but he would've left if JHF didn't nominate port, might be hard to come back to the club in his mind

Nah no way. The club probably said to him if you want a contract beyond its current term look around. Otherwise stay for 2 more years and go FA.

That’s a great outcome for Jack and for us. If he left then I’d have no qualms whatsoever. The guy puts in 100% all the time and deserves a pay day when it’s time

I think all of Saints, Essendon, North and Hawthorn would look at him. He's a great option for a rebuilding club because he's a strong body who works hard and bring standards from a successful club with his leadership.

He’s got good pace when getting around the ground, not many can go with him.
They blow up.
