Hello Tiger fans!

The embedded resources below are kept up to date by the trade board mods (as much as possible – we are human after all). Enjoy!

I think our best trade chip is soldo , right now could be low 20s
Casboult is the one probably retiring. But they have witts about 30 y.o. suns drafted Moyle who is first ruck in the VFL plus they bringing in the 3 academy kids. One of whom is a ruck. Plus Chol and Mac Andrew . Maybe they take Soldo too. They do like tall players.

But Soldo is more of a need for us. Give them one of our 50 HBFs

All the sun's current draft picks apparently only get them 2 high picks. They need our picks not our players i think.

Loose Soldo and draft in another depth ruck?
Well if we get overs for soldo, sure.
I don't think soldo is the type to chase money or a career. Serbian connection at Richmond probably counts for a bit.

Plus the sun's need picks for the 3 academy players who are Top 10 talent. I think the sun's have picks for 2 of them.
They need picks to match bids. They need our draft picks not players

We need KPFs and if our players are part of a trade for a KPF fine.

I'd love us to make a play for Shane McAdam. Bloke cracks in hard and would fit in as a great role player across our half forward line. Puts on high pressure and is generally clean and smart ball in hand.
Calling it early, he will be a key player for the Crows next year.

He’ll be 29yrs old next year, not sure if the club wants to go in that direction?

I'm not against us bringing in Jack Silvagni. He's a hard worker who can take a grab, tackles really well for a big guy and can provide support in the ruck.

No superstar, but would only cost around $400k a year and would be a definite upgrade on what Miller is currently producing — and is a free agent.

I reckon if we get 20-25 for soldo it’s good business

Matt Crouch is still worth a look imo.

I had no idea how old he was. I thought he was a young kid. That's crazy. Yeah, I take it back lol.

We went into today's game with Riewoldt, Miller and Pickett as our three key forwards.

If we want to contend next year we need to replace all three. Lynch will obviously replace Jack, but that still leaves us ideally needing a forward/ruck and a mobile third tall.
Yep that's got to be the worst forward setup in the AFL

That Van Rooyen kid would be handy....

He had 7 disposals. 4 score involvements. 1 contested mark. 1 tackle and no other contested possessions. He may be good in future but none of what he did today would solve our immediate problems. Is no doubt a very good set shot kick but I suspect that is the result of some really low mileage.

today showed how much we miss nank

I thought Soldo actually did well. His game was obviously overshadowed completely by his opponent Gawn, but Soldo did as well as you could expect I think. You are talking about an $900k player versus a $300k player. Not sure how much better nank could have done. Soldo got a goal and an assist amongst 8 score involvements, which is really good. Gawn no goals or assists amongst 10 score involvements. Kept Gawn to 1 contested mark.

Where Max killed us was outfoxing us at stoppages and in ground ball contests, and hitouts in the end.

Nank wouldve at least made gawn accountable around the ground. He's good at floating back to help out the defence too.

Soldo just doesn't have the skill or poise. 3rd quarter Gawn just smashed it as far forward as possible.

Granted though including today gawns last 3 weeks with grundy out has been incredible.

He would have been better than riewoldt and Miller....

It is true Nankervis probably would have been very handy dropping back to help in defence. I'm holding my stock in Soldo though. He is well worth his list spot and his salary.
