Hello Tiger fans!

The embedded resources below are kept up to date by the trade board mods (as much as possible – we are human after all). Enjoy!

tugga you may like to sticky or merge this post, move it to the start of the thread (so the sticky post doesn't rotate if a post is deleted before it), or copy it to your draft thread.

Dees the major player in Darcy Parish. Darcy wants $700k for 6 years I believe.

What can we take away from Melbourne….

Maybe we can get involved with a Grundy trade. I know Nank is not a forwards a-hole but those are the cards
We don't need Grundy. Not sure how Nank has all of a sudden gone from a very good ruck to whipping boy on here in the space of a season. Our gameplan for stoppage has been horrendous for years. Nank is at absolute worst a serviceable ruck. Plus Ivan Maric is a shit ruck coach IMO. Let's see how he goes under a new coach and gameplan. He was probably the inform ruck in comp early on this season before he got injured.

I saw Tom Morris said that. Another slow accumulator with average disposal is not what Dees need.

So what’s your theory on our ruck stocks? You go from we don’t need any to we have a massive hole we need to cover. In one paragraph.

Just slow a little and think before posting

Cheers for the condescending post, hope it made you feel good.

I'd be trading Soldo while he has value. Nank is the number 1 ruck, Ryan is the backup ruck and I'd be drafting an 18 y/o ruck in the national or rookie draft. You don't need more than 3 legit rucks on your list.

Plus we have Miller as a backup backup if we get desperate. Plus I'd be getting Silvagni as a free agent who is a capable 2nd ruck/KPF.

And what hard decisions are they ?
Trade value players to get in the draft number 1 priority
Fitness and conditioning needs a overhaul
Recruitment and drafting draft for needs has to be a priority for to long we ignored this.
Development to many youngsters regressed this season

Not to mention Balta is also a break glass in case of emergency option
If our new coach wants to play him forward it would be nice to see him get a run in the ruck again

Even Gibcus from memory took a few centre bounces last year and was decent enough

Soldo is definitely the one to trade, has value but is behind Nank as number one but not worth carrying to be the 2nd fiddle
With so many other options available

Were not trading for the sake of trading, let it go.
Injuries happen, fitness is fine it's about effort.
LOL you're kidding right, that's what they do. Can only trade one part of the ground at a time and they draft best available, they haven't ignored anything. The club knows what they are doing, they are not stupid, stop being a Veruca Salt and wanting everything to happen now.
How did it, Ryan played 14, Ross got 19, Mansell got 17, Clarke got 13, MRJ got 10, Cumbers got 9, Young got 19, god damn what did you want the whole entire reserves played in the ones to get experience getting belted. Sheesh.

Are there any money ball KPD's out there?

Balta Lynch and Bauer looks bloody good dynamic up forward with Balta roaming as the 2nd ruck. Delicious. Imagine standing in the hole as an interceptor with these 3 blokes coming at ya?

Also loved the look of Brown and Nipper on debut allowing D Rioli to go forward.

Things are no where near as bad as they look right now.
Caleb Marchbank. Would cost next to nothing. Depends on the body obviously.

As far as I am concerned Clarke has outperformed Hartley over the years hands down

hey mate if you come off a long run up back it up. Do you think our ruck stocks are good? pretty simple question.

Silvagni? Come on

Surely Harmes from the dee's is worth a look
Not for us imo
We have enough Mids right now with Taranto, Hopper, Prestia as the main blokes plus Dusty, Bolton, Baker and Short able to spend mins and

Plenty of depth with the emergence of Dow and Sonsie hopefully progressing next year

Melbourne is laughing hard, top 4, have Freo's 1st rounder as well as their own 1st rounder and pick 24.

Probably move Grundy on for another pick.

Thats how you rebuild while at the top.

I didn't come off a long run up, I wasn't even talking about you specifically. All I said was that Nank has become somewhat of a whipping boy on here. The guy was good enough to be a triple premiership ruckman and is still only just 29. By the time he starts winding down, Ryan will be coming into his prime and right now they complement each other nicely.

I think our ruck stocks are fine with Nank (29), Soldo (27) + Ryan (23) or Nank (29), Ryan (23) + a draftee going into next season, yes. If I was Soldo I wouldn't be hanging around with at least 4 clubs in the market looking for a 1st ruck. Add to that the fact we need draft picks and I can't see him being at Punt Road in 6 weeks time.

No other AFL teams have more than two ready to go 1st ruck capable options. Plus you can get mature age backups for peanuts every off season and MSD if required.

Ya reckon? They only have it because their most promising youngster (and likely the best ruckman in the comp within 24 months) chose to leave them. They'd prefer to have kept Jackson, who is exactly the player they're crying out for this year. As for Grundy they'll probably only get back what they gave for him. Sideways move.

Especially with Gawn being 31 and no real tall decent depth options and only one young key forward their tall stocks are probably worse than ours

Pick 5, plus their own 1st rounder plus 24 and 34 currently. They will also move Grundy on so will most likely get another high 2nd round pick. They are laughing.

5 picks around the top 30 and still have a decent list to contend, we were on the way down when we got 5 picks around the top 30.

Bauer mighn't have quite got his hands around many up forward by he was absolutely smashing packs all day. Kept us in it up forward when we normally just give it up and the rebound comes pelting back out. I love him.

Agreed, also doesn't need many shots at goal to make an impact.

Just needs to work on his work rate over summer. Can see why they sent him back in the VFL.
