We just facilitated Freo getting two 1st round draft picks for a 29 yo winger.
While we gave up a promising 23yo key position player in an area where we have no depth for the last first round pick and dropping off our own 1st round pick

Not to mention what we accepted for polec last year given he is pretty much a younger version of said Freo winger

Dougal & Ryder trade is ok. I would've thought we could've extracted a little more out of the deal, but on the surface we scored over 200 extra points for next year from a small 2 spot drop. So realistically that's not too bad.


The big issue I have is Frampton. We've given him up for possibly 20-30 draft points. That's nothing. If GWS finish top 4 it's less than 50 points. That's a crap deal.

This is a bad trade- 10 alone could get you 12 and 18- we’ve thrown in Dougal too! Ryder for future pick swaps is ok as we didn’t want him on our list.

The worst part about this trade- St Kilda we’re desperate to get 10. Without it they don’t get Hull. We had the strong hand in this negotiation. St Kilda’s ability to get 2 players hinged on us.

Although I’ll wait until 7:30 pm tomorrow to make a judgment on it all, we need to makeup ground now to come out even in the trade period overall. This trade in isolation has made us weaker.
