Those people are the ones who are in charge of the levers. They aren’t killing anyone but you.

I’m reading Fight Club 3 at the moment. It’s all about eugenics and the worth of the individual to society.

The first and second world wars were begun by certain key elements who saw a need to depopulate the Earth. War is an easy way to stop the birthrate because it reduces the amount of potential fathers.

There are four births every second and only two deaths per second. That means the population increases about 1% every year. In other words, if population keeps at its current rate, the world’s population will 9.8 billion in around 30 years (2050) and 11.4 billion in 70 years (2100).

It was 3.8 billion around 50 years ago (1970). It’s 7.7 billion now.

Now here’s something that will bake your noodle - consider the possibility for a moment that this has happened before. And that as technology advanced, we reached singularity - and uploaded our consciousness into a machine that was loaded onto a satellite and sent out into space, powered by dark energy...and we are just “living” in a simulation that continually plays in a loop where we either get “reborn” with our memory wiped clean...or we learn the lessons of how to live in harmony with others, accept that the world is what we make it, and live in whatever version of “paradise” or “heaven” our consciousness has written into the system, based on our life choices.

Plugged into the Matrix by choice, without a physical body, but able to experience everything as if we did have one.

I need to get some of that DMT off you.

I think this is much more plausible than our current gameplan delivering a premiership.

For what it's worth, I'd have not suspended Dazza

a) it feeds the martyrdom
b) it deletes some of the entertainment

This would have some merit if he was even remotely entertaining.

Let's say we are in a simulation, what changes? Nothing.

It's such a phenomenally abstract thought bubble as to not provide any benefit at all except to make your stoner mates go "woaaahhh!" as you pass them the purple dragon bong.

Eh, over population isn't something new. Look at Europe before the plague and after. Starvation and serfdom before the plague, more food and better wages after. Less people means better pay and more food (unless the rich decide otherwise, which they did)
We are better fed globally then any other point in history, so the idea of over population seems bunk. If you wanted a conspiracy, you could argue low wage growth and a never ending war on terrorism and this fear of over population is just a way for the rich to keep the serfs in their place. Limit upward mobility like in the past because there is nothing stopping most people from being a happy middle class if wages were distributed more evenly.

Also if you want a good over popluation conspiracy show. The first season of the british show "Utopia" was amazing. Second season not as good but still worthwhile.

If I go missing, here is suspect number one. Hi, Daza! #obsession

It’s actually anthropological fact that societies with the most surplus become the most inequitable. The agricultural revolution moved us away from a concept of only taking what we need from an ecosystem that provided for us and instead moved us into a concept of forcing the ecosystem to give us what we want in abundance, which allowed us to build bigger storehouses for the harvested grain. The houses of those who were farmers 10,000 years ago were quite a lot bigger than those who were hunter/gatherers, and they could have larger families because in times of plenty they had the resources to support them.

This led to feeling a sense of ownership of the land instead of a connection with it, but it also made us more fearful of things we can’t control that would affect our abundance. Drought, flood, disease, pestilence...instead of nature being something that provided food, it was now something that took it away. So those who were in towns that were dependent on agriculture created gods to explain why the people were suffering - not the gods of the elder religions, which were about worshiping nature, but gods directly related to agriculture...the sun god (for growing crops), the bull god (for tilling the field), the eagle god (for hunting animals that could possibly eat the crops) etc. This is what happened in Khemet (Egypt).

Of course these days, we have moved away from such things and have instead tried to manipulate the environment, using genetically modified crops and chemicals to grow food.

So in conclusion - the amount of arable land, multiplied by the production of said land, determines the possible population. Unless we come up with synthetic food soon, or trees and crops that yield 12 months a year...we’re getting very close to peak population. You can’t eat oil or money.

What’s the solution? Simple. Instead of concentrating on abundance - synthetic crops - we need to shift wholesale to organic. Organic crops have more nutrients, which means less food is required to maintain the same energy intake. This also means that there will be less dependence on meat - which will be richer and more nutritious as well.

Of course, doing this would require farmers and the government to not charge anything more for organic crops...and here’s where greed comes back in. So we are back to square one again.

Had dinner at this pub https://imperialerskineville.com.au/ last night and it was totes amazeballs. Food was phenomenal and two lovely young ladies wandered around all night with bottles of johnnie walker blue. They only had one show on which was a bit sad. A couple of friends bought it six months or so ago and preceded to send 8 kitchen staff on a study tour of America to learn more about plant based food in pubs. It worked very ****ing well.

If you get to Sydney do yourself a favour.

Have recommended to daughters Sydney office so big thanks
