Still think Tredrea would have more influence on the club digging away from within the media, where he would continue to be free to say whatever he wanted.

He wont have that luxury at board level.

There is absolutely no reason he can say what he wants in terms of club performance. No onr expects him to blurt out commercial in confidence shit.

Hes there for performance stuff.

I don't think that's true. He will need to be very careful what he says about all aspects of PAFC performance, on and off the field performance.

People I know who want Tredders on the board-

Greg Boulton
Peter Burgoyne
Darren Cahill (and very likely Jack)
Big footy rabble rousers

People I know who don't want Tredders on the board-

Rucci
Kane Cornes
David Koch (and very likely Ken)
Happy clappers

Current Board members??:)

If Tredrea gets on the board, I'll certainly miss his lone voice highlighting the mediocrity. I hope that whilst Tredrea is going to work internally for the betterment of the club, somebody else of significance speaks up for overdue changes.

He's been doing that for years and it hasn't worked so far.

How good was Greg Boulton on 5aa just now
Glad he publicly said he already voted for Treadrea. Didn't even say it was a hard decision. For those who didn't hear, he said once you've been on the board you've had your chance and you don't go back.

Disappointed with Ginever who said he wasn't sure yet. Weak as piss.

He can still be critical, he just needs to be a bit more diplomatic. Instead of literally 'Sack Hinkley' it will be more 'we as a club have high standards and expectations and we will back him for now but ultimately we're after results and if we don't get them then we will have to look at making changes at all levels'.

Dont be so sure. That suspect member count is sure something. Wouldnt put it past this regime, not by a long shot.

We have seen the waves of bots they deploy and the muzzling of even the well worded and impersonal criticism of the club on social media.
Love my boys !!! Best club in the world 🌎⚡⚡🍐🍐🔥🔥

Ginever is the ultimate fence sitter publicly. Privately, he speaks a different tune.

This is starting to make the current Chairman look very foolish indeed. He tried his hardest to discredit Tredrea as some sort of looney lone wolf shooting from the hip, wanting to be on the board without the chops to back it up.

Now, he’s receiving endorsements from some of the most influential and respected people in Port Adelaide’s modern history.

Hopefully this is terminal for Koch or at the very least, humbling (doubt it).

Exactly this. If we could get the things we want by Tredrea applying external pressure to the board, we would have some of those things by now.

Disappointed with Ginever who said he wasn't sure yet. Weak as piss.

The club under Koch has become weak and petty enough to cut off people who don't publicly toe the line. There's a reason Tredrea wasn't mentioned in Rozee's captaincy press conference, why he wasn't included in the club's retro guernsey marketing, etc.

Ginever has a nice radio gig and he gave great service to the club, but he doesn't enjoy the same profile or record as Tredrea. If he sticks his neck out before we deplorable white noisers have even a single voice on the board, what do you think happens to him?

Not sure about everyone else but the groundswell of support for Tredrea through my network is incredible. People who don't even usually show an interest in anything other than the football side of things are actively talking about WGT and why he should be on the board. There's a few who are anti-Tredrea but even those say that they'd be happy with either Abernethy or Tredrea on the board.

The interest and commentary in this election is unprecedented. Not even the great Poo Eckert got this much traction. ;)
