On the Fox Footy pre-GF coverage. Said that despite being a Richmond listed player (his first season) at the time Baker went full nuff and was decked out in WCE merch to see us beat the Pies.

Players do not go info psd. Every fan talks about it but it never happens and people always quote an example 20 years ago.
Players don’t want to spend 4-6 weeks in limbo. Certainly not the top players and there is still a risk someone else takes them.

No idea, but it's an example that wasn't 20 years ago.
Pretty sure at the time plenty of teams were keen on him, obviously no one wants him now

Really liked him at Tigers, good little player.
But I'm uncomfortable with the way he's come in, and it's really tarnished him for me. Hopefully doesn't end up a Wellingham.

He did keep bringing up our potent forward line, which while it might not be that potent, it is deep. At least he knows we have plenty of small forwards.
I do wonder if the pitch to recruit him included that he would likely play half back/mid

He is a B+ grade defender
C+ mid and forward IMO.
You'll love him in defence.

Quick question. I thought Wellingham was absolutely spectacular and a key player for the side in 2015. If we got a 2015 Wellingham output out of Baker for a few years it would be hard not to call trading him in a big win?
