Not in Richmond best 22 and no great loss.
He has not been able to put on any wt. in 4 years.
I wish him well at the blues but can not see him playing more than 7 -10 games.

A bit harsh?

I thought K Steph's comments on Carlton's guernsey were spot on (another thread)...and her info on Denham seems pretty accurate as well.

Surely it is ok to have opinions that differ to yours.....that is unless she thinks that Judd was fortunate to get the Brownlow then it is off to Siberia for you (i am joking)...:D

It wasn't that specific post of hers, it's her in general.

He was your highest average goal kicker per game only 2nd to Riewoldt in 2010 - yep definitely not in your best 22.

If there is one club that just wont improve a players skills.........its Richmond:eek:

Good luck Grigg...... with piss poor skills like yours, you'll fit right in down at the spitters.:thumbsu:

Don't know much about Collins (i mean seriously who follows Richmond players???) but i trust the club with this decision.

Yes and that was with just 14 goals i will say it again not in our best 22 or yours.

Mate i'll tell ya why Carlton would have taken this lad,

No he has not put it all together but, against Sydney he stood up under immense pressure, kicked goals, took marks, tackled and took the game on all after being knocked out. In the last game of the year Grigg had a shot, slight angle to help us continue chasing down the game against Freo to nab us a home final late in the 4th and kicked it out on the full.

Nuff said.

Just one question have you seen him play?
If the club wanted him he would still be at Richmond.
He has no great awareness and his kicking can let him down big time.

Apparently talked to Ratten on Saturday. Said we see him in a forward/midfield role. Collins says he would love to get a run through the midfield, felt didn't get that opportunity at Richmond.

Dying to see a picture of him in his carlton shirt. Make it happen Swanny?

HAHAH.

No but really.

Very well spoken young man :)

This'll have to do until the CFCTV interview is up

Speaks really well, the kid.
He's humble and thankful to Carlton for it's interest in him and genuinely honoured to be now wearing the navy blue. I like him already.
So happy with this trade :) :)

Richscum, enjoy your mercenary. Typically, you'll have turned on him by halftime at Round 1.

First thing your club should do is put him on protein shakes and get him into the gym. Dont let him come out untill he stops looking like daisy thomas.

Only thing holding the kid back is his size. When he puts on some decent mass he will break games open.

Good luck to Andy.

I like this quote from Icke:

"and it is pleasing to have a young player who is looking forward to playing for the Carlton Football Club"

...a veiled swipe at Grigg I think
