Just got this feeling that Jai is a person you would love to have you cover your back, be next to in the trenches!

Hmmm what quarantine requirements? All of them are already in Melbourne. Not even sure if he will meet quarantine requirements. I think it unlikely but I’m sure we will see him in the seniors soon.
Game is in Sydney. I might be wrong here but I believe the players will need to be isolating to be allowed entry into nsw. I’m not 100% clear on the requirements and maybe adhering to the lock down is sufficient. Quarantine was probably the wrong word here.Hmmm what quarantine requirements? Used to love watching Sewell do his stuff
He is definetly a similar build to Brad, hope he can offer the club as much as Sewell did
In my opinion what mad Brad Sewell so good was that not only would he get the contested ball but he would then burst forward and run 10 to 15 meters before kicking. He is 5cm taller than Sewell and shares his contested ball winning capabilities. Big bonus is that he has far more penetration in his kicking. Goes pretty well in contested marking as well. Can’t help but feel bullish about this kid having a real impact on our floundering midfield
Didn’t Sewell use to have the rule that he had to come up with the ball from the pack, would never let the opposition have it?In my opinion what mad Brad Sewell so good was that not only would he get the contested ball but he would then burst forward and run 10 to 15 meters before kicking.
Our current contested ball winners (ie Mitchell) very rarely do this, more often than not they go sideways or backwards with the ball.
If Jai can bring a Sewell like aspect to the team he should be playing straight away IMOH as we deaparetly need that point of difference
Do you think he'll be allowed to though? We don't have anyone in our team that can do this at the moment (JOM maybe) which makes me excited about Jai
My daughter reckons Cuz should have kept 46 as well.I want him to stay in the 72

Jai is definetely taller than Sewell but I still see similarities in their build. He is also a much different build to Brad Sewell. The thing that set Sewell apart was that you couldn't tackle him, he was so strong and agile in the contest, he was powerful ball winner.
It wasn't so much his pace and size, as it was his sidestep and ability to swing his hips to shake off tacklers.
Brad Sewell was a very different player imo. Much smaller, just freakishly robust and strong for his size.
Won't mind if Jai can win the ball like Brad though!
One thing I found really interesting was that during his video interview when listing the midfielders he was keen to work with he included everyone but Mitchell. Almost definitely an oversight but one I thought was kinda funny.

Instructions are clearly to handball side/back to create space & get the ball into the hands of a kicker who has time to execute.
Obviously this strategy has been redundant since the 6-6-6 rule stopped us creating the outlet kicker (7th defender), but we're 100% committed to continuing it anyway. I'm not sure Duke will have license to play like it's 2021 when the rest are made to play like it's 2015.
Ha haFINALLY! Holding on to my Dale Garlett inspired 44 jersey just paid for itself!

Tend to agree. Both stick their nose over the footy and have clean hands. Will see if Jai has similar speed/agility.Looks like an upgrade on Worps to be honest. I know, I know......
Oh boy!Looks like an upgrade on Worps to be honest. I know, I know......
So he'll win the Crimmins' medal this year?Looks like an upgrade on Worps to be honest. I know, I know......
