I've just hit 30 and for me its 4.

I as youngster always had another number on my back, but #4 was the number 1 for Carlton.

Before my time there may have been another number but since I can remember its been 4.

I'm really happy about Gibbs getting the number too. I just think one more season under his belt and he will be one of those players which is just a classs above everyone.

Don't forget the greatest fro in the history of the game, one Vin 'Spinner' Catoggio!

I voted #1 anyway. Four members of your team of the century wore it (Clover, Hands and both Silvagni's)

In my era, #4 (Doull briefly, Catoggio, the Buzz, Kernahan, Gibbs), #7 (Dominator and Ratts), #8 (Keogh, Blackwell, Whitnall, Kreuzer), and #43 (McKay, Kouta) are contenders.

Hey, thanks for the memories.
Gee, he was light on his feet. But what struck me the most was how clean and crisp his foot disposal looked.
Some of that clean kicking would be most welcome nowadays, sadly enough.
