The answer is pretty obvious. Essendon has played in 2 gfs since 1995, unlikely to make it again for generations. Anzac Day is once a year. Travis is just trying to instill some hope in the Essendon players that their careers might have some meaning.

I saw the port saints game tonight and the booing of that whiner kid. How pitiful was that? That must be the worst display of booing that I've ever seen from an AFL crowd. I think the bolded sums up our philosophical difference to whipping. You just seem obsessed by finding one bloke to whip, whereas I believe in constructive tactical abuse designed to break individuals and drive them out of the team. It's for the betterment of the club that I whip. The barnacle can't be removed by whips, it's only moronic over-training that brings on injuries that gets him out of the team. With Adams, rather than whipping, we need to praise him for working so hard at training in order to encourage him to work harder and tear muscles off bones. That's the best chance of getting rid of that spud.

I am getting worried about WHE. Thought he might be sick, contemplated the unthinkable they might rest him and now the threat from nolegs. Even when WHE gets out of the limelight on the bike, nolegs take the J.Blair Memorial points for the week. I'm pretty sure its the mo. WHE doesn't get kicks, that is normally a winning strategy. The mo has upped the ante, gets kicks and still wins the points. I think he has adapted the great JB's knack of making a great lead then failing to be 215cm and marking the ball. I am at a loss. Perhaps we should all just crowd boo one or the other.

I must admit that your highlighting of the hyphen's bike duties is a real insight. I think that's his go for the rest of the year. I'd like to see him there in the finals and there's no need to actually have him at the ground, clogging up the player area...

Look I accept big intellects like yourself and the other dude need more to entertain. Still the JB Trophy is important to me, he led the way so to speak. I wouldn't be so quick to write WHE off, its a long season. You mob need to get out there and collect some decent stats. Maybe some sort of matrix like 1pt for a mo, 2 for nolegs's mo, 1 for a puffer, 2 for the bike, 3 for losing head band in the heat of the battle, etc.

ned kelly jnr the sub....the fly's contract must be up for negotiation. I cant think of any other reason for sucking up to the CEO.

I cant believe I'm going to show some support for the Trey but he's unlucky to lose his job even though the spud king is back....latest news is the spud passeed his first year arithmetic and reading tests in the last few days so the knock in the head actually improved his IQ.
