Damn straight. Was it CrowsB4hoes that said the game had passed him?
I did. I said the Max Gawn type of ruckman is what you nees nowdays. Not just a tap ruckman but a mobile contested marking tall who can go forward and kick a couple of goals a game. Was it CrowsB4hoes that said the game had passed him?
I am not sure. He is the kind of guy who seems to love the week in week out grind of AFL footy. We need to give some games to ROB against the crappy sides I think. Keep Jacobs fresh
I'm sucking up to the mod in agreeing with every word. Oh except specificallyYeah i don't recall specifically asking for his head, but i was getting worried about his mobility late in the season.
Will need to be managed correctly this year.
Don't want him to get to the one-inch jump levels he reached last year.
That is exactly what is still need. Jacobs has been able to been doing that somewhat I'm the first few games. He's been better around the ground, getting involved in play, taking marks and kicking goals.I did. I said the Max Gawn type of ruckman is what you nees nowdays. You use the word elite too liberally or you have low standards. His ball use is elite for a ruckman, it's better than half our midfield. It's handy, especially with our fast paced style, to have a ruckman who can actually hit targets by foot rather than always searching for a mid to hand it off to.
You miss the bit where he said Ruckman??You use the word elite too liberally or you have low standards.
No I didn't.You miss the bit where he said Ruckman??

Rehn had elite ball use for a ruckman.
Jacobs is ok.
You miss the bit where he said Ruckman??
Edit : disposal efficiency of 78.3% is pretty decent for a Ruckman.

Another that fails to see that was in reference to the majority of Ruckmen who historically can't hit the side of a barn....Disposal efficiency is the marker of safe, not elite disposal.
Elite disposal is reserved to those who can pierce zones and hit the high degree of difficulty passes.
Why would you compare against Sandilands?
Why would you compare against Sandilands?
He has horrendous disposal.

you try telling Jacobs he's not playing...I am not sure. He is the kind of guy who seems to love the week in week out grind of AFL footy.
Not sure he would really benefit from a rest it may upset his form and rhythm.
He did look done last year. But as pointed out earlier that coincided with his rolled ankle. The club probanly erred in not giving him more rest then. As they did Jenkins.
