Who Is the Best Midfield Option for $83, 400

which midfielder priced at 83, 400 is most likely to get a game? who is my best bet?


i have to trade dew now that he's injured and i want to get franklin. so i decided to trade coughlan for a reserves player and bring palmer on to the field. i wanted to get geary but i fell about 7k short. now the only midfielder i can afford for coughlan would have to be priced 83, 400. anyone know who i can get??

all the 83k rookies are on the rookie list and will not get a game this year, so all of them are the same, i would look to save cash and get geary

am i better off trading steve johnson ($530, 800) for franklin ($490, 100) and then coughlan ($260, 500) for geary ($94, 200)?

Sharrod Wellingham is really impressing (again) in the reserves. Reports are that he's a class above. With two (or three maybe) players on the long term injury list, I'd expect him to be promoted shortly. I really think he will score well too. Very good user of the ball, and knows how to find it. Expect a debut for ANZAC day, we always seem to debut players then.

Atkinson is readymade and had good NAB form. Magin will be a player in future but is smallish at moment.

I'd look at Atkinson if they promote him this week. He'll play if promoted.

Wellingham has been named as an emergency, and word is that the club has flown his family over from WA for the match. Late withdrawal will be one of Swan or Didak most likely.

Keep an eye on the teams this week

WIth Nietz out there is a chance that melbourne will elevate a rookie from the list. Whether its in the midfield im not sure.

he can be picked forward or mid, but i wouldn't jump the gun just yet.

melbourne haven't elevated anyone yet, bailey said it would be pointless elevating a rookie unless he warranted immediate inclusion into the side, which i think was a hint that no one would be promoted this week, so i think he's waiting a week to see how valenti responds to the chance of playing seniors.
