Cool.

Didn't you guys get pumped by a woeful Collingwood?

Very inconsistent form there.

Lost to Giants - they are rubbish.

Lost to Carlton - Lol.

Struggled against Melbourne when they were sh*t.

Beat a Freo that can't score and and have good form the last 3 rounds.

Rollercoaster season for the Cats and nothing to indicate so far that they are a genuine threat, especially considering their finals record since 2011.
All true. As I said earlier no one can win this years flag

To be fair Geelong has been consistently average/poor this season, against GWS, Pies, WCE and Carlton they couldn't cut it. The rest of the games Geelong benefited from their oppositions just playing badly, not showing up, umpire help and teams with injuries/resting their stars.

Unlikely to make finals imo

Honestly, I can't see anyone stopping them from winning this year's premiership.

Richmond, Collingwood and GWS have all declined from their 2019 selves while West Coast, Brisbane and Port Adelaide just aren't good enough.

Are any legitimate contenders going to put their hands up? Or will 2007 repeat itself?
Anyone, please. Even Port.

I am becoming less confident about Brisbane. They just aren’t playing very well at the moment. I think their forward line is their Achilles heel; except for Cameron they aren’t good at fighting dirty and scrapping, so if they come up against a defensive team they struggle to score.

I don’t know, maybe I am wrong. If Geelong can’t win it I would like to see them doing so. It is just hard to see them beating the likes of Richmond in a cut throat final.

Brisbane need to pray its all at the Gabba. Still ild take tigers, geelong and west coast b4them

Love having a dig at the cats don’t you. Worry about your own team mate.
Yes we know Geelong have struggled in finals. Why keep bringing it up?
I am responding to your nuffie pal that thinks WC can’t win it away from Perth and pointing out how stupid it is to make calls like that when Geelong have looked the form team for years and struggled.

Stop reading into it.

****ing hopefully anyone but WC, after years of sooking about vicbias they've been handed months at home in the only stadium with a real crowd. Couldn't have had it any easier this year.

I almost want them to win it, just because they’ve copped it for years about home ground advantage, yet beat Collingwood in 18. If a GF is in Perth and WC are in it, how would they go if Richmond or Geelong beat them there? There’d literally be no rebuttal to the flack they’ve given about a WC home ground advantage.

Apart from the fact the likes of Brisbane have played once in Melbourne, twice in Sydney and all their other games in QLD....Brisbane are the team if they don't win they have blown it given their massive advantage this year, not the WA or SA teams.

You don't think Geelong's record in finals is relevant when discussing finals?

Yet will still play more away games than games in Perth this year. I think I'd rather take 15 minimum home games a year than this season.

Remember, there has never been a team to lose a final in the previous season and then go on to win the flag the following year. This is why Richmond has won every premiership since the V/AFL started and will also win this years

Yeah, but if you want to be treated like a Vic team, you get less games with home ground advantage and more neutral games.

Who said that?

People have said that teams with awful records in finals have a major question mark over them as a result, but that's hardly the same thing, is it?

What about Port and St Kilda?

It's a proven fact according to this thread. Prior to 2017 Richmond was what, 1-8? in finals in 35 years and then won the flag in convincing fashion, but no one else could possibly ever do that.
